idk who needs to hear this, but low engagement does not mean your writing is bad.

engagement doesn’t solely depend on the quality of the work. whilst it can play a role, other things such as fandom, ship, tags, tropes and posting at the right time of the day/week play a SIGNIFICANT role.

so keep writing what you love. keep writing what makes your heart happy. your work is amazing. the fact that you’re even putting words out there is amazing.

Okay, already seeing people raging about the Rafayel myth being released, so I’m gonna repeat what I’ve seen on threads for the past couple of days.

We all know the Raf myth was to be expected, but after seeing conversations from others, I don’t think we should be giving up hope or going for the throat at this very second. Remember what I said in the last post? There is still a risk factor right now for the employees, and with the new cyber bullying law coming into play next month for China, it’s important we stay vigilant and continue to wait this out. Not to mention, the new Rafayel myth was technically promised this month (even though Valko was promised and they went back on their word, it’s important to just stay calm right now) anyways.

Right now, it’s whether or not they release a new multi-banner WITHOUT Valko, and one of other tests will be Zayne’s birthday and afterwards. We cannot give up hope yet, and I would recommend taking a long, LONG break if this entire situation is causing major crash outs. Take these whole two weeks for the Raf myth and just do something else for a while. Continue showing your love for Valko, but don’t lose your mental health over it, please. And remember to remain kind to your fellow players whether they decide to pull or not. We’re fighting the antis, not the people who are on our side.
