Something neuroscience-y that helps with prose: attention is selective. A character will not notice everything in a room. They will notice what matters to their goal, fear, desire, training, wound, or obsession. A jealous character notices hands. a hungry character notices food. A soldier notices exits. A lonely character notices pairs. Description becomes character when attention has a bias.
Hey, don’t cry. Free online database of Japanese folk lore
Might I add, free database of mostly European folklore and myths
A Book of Creatures by @a-book-of-creatures doesn't update these days but is another thing along these lines, really huge, fully illustrated all by the author and cites all sources
My mans unlocked a higher level of synesthesia
I agree and here is why:
7 and 3 are the only prime numbers you can pair to get 21. That’s what the 21 is being so smug about.
and 56 = 7x8. Five, six, seven, eight. They go marching together in line like the elephants in the children’s song. That what makes it so unimaginative and heteronormative.

Hey do you know alot about internal organs. Cause if so then i have a pretty specific question.
Are... are your organs covered in blood??? Since blood tends to flow thru the blood vessels, and if your body is healthy and all your blood vessels are imtact then your organs shouldn't be covered in blood, right? But just saying that feels wrong.
No, unless you are actively experiencing internal bleeding then your organs are not covered in blood. They are however wet, but it's cerebrospinal fluid and mucus that keeps them that way.
Trust me you do not want them to be in any other condition. If they were covered in blood then there would be no way for your body to effectively circulate that blood, leading you to bleed out. As for them being wet, I personally would not want to experience dry friction on my organs so I am more than okay with that
Also just to clear up any further confusion, cerebrospinal fluid (as the name implies) is contained to just your brain and spinal cord. The rest are protected by mucous
Small correction to my original answer: your organs are not covered in blood unless you are bleeding internally or happen to be a bug
oh no, my bloody organs!
The feather star is a type of crinoid, a marine invertebrate that shares the same phylum (Echinodermata) as starfish, sea cucumbers, sand dollars, urchins, and brittle stars. Though they often perch on sponges, coral, and other substrata, feather stars can crawl and swim. Some species have over 150 arms, and if they lose one to a predator, they can regenerate the severed limb over time.
Crinoidea is a truly ancient class: their fossil record stretches back to the Ordovician period, almost 250 million years before dinosaurs walked the earth. As such, the modern feather star is a glimpse into the earth's ancient past. Though crinoids are harmless to humans and are actually an indicator of a healthy ocean ecosystem, their five-fold symmetry and grasping appendages give them an unearthly elegance. In fact, the Aliens franchise was inspired by crinoids!

if your animal is lying on the floor, furniture etc, it’s important to take a picture of them. then, if they move or shift in any way, it’s important to take another picture. with this technique, you can take many pictures of your animal
For advanced techique, take multiple identical pictures of the same moment/position to ensure you get the best possible shot of your animal. You’ll then find yourself uncapable of deleting any of those shots, therefore filling your phone with pictures of your animal even faster.
