Reflection
it was supposed to look like a reflection in the wet floor but yeah, nope :p still, digital papercuts are fun, especially with Julian the Janitor
Iâve had this Orbiting Human Circus themed playlist accumulating songs for a while now and thought Iâd share the link here for anyone who wants a listen!!
Lots of oldies, lots of Music Tapes. Best listened to in shuffle!! I add songs to it as I find songs that fit the vibe, so thereâs always something new.
We need some Christy Gressman appreciation in the âThe Orbiting Human Circusâ fanbase bc for real she does so much for the show, moderating live-streams, helping with the Patreon, tons of stuff behind the scenes.
Lots of love for Christy Gressman!!
I love her so much!!!!
(Our beloved Walter Lowery who played Coco.)
Be a part of Naughty Till New Years' special bonus episode! Join us tomorrow â Saturday, July 25, at 4:00pm ET â for a live Q&A. Weâll share a Zoom link here tomorrow. (Donât worry â itâll be audio only.) Ask Julian your questions about OHC and NTNY and help us celebrate the season. Later we'll release the audio on the OHC feed.
Julian is spongebob and Jacques is Patrick. I am right.
I donât understand this but I support you
did i cry multiple times during this scene. yes. so i drew it.
this podcast is my big favorite <3

âď¸Announcing a brand new fanzineâŚâď¸
âď¸Le public (de l'air): an Orbiting Human Circus Fanzine!!âď¸
This zine is based around the scene in the final episode of season two, where we find the Janitor trying on clothes from the Windâs Daughter charity drive, pretending to be members of his audience.
Because of this, we thought it would be a cool idea to make a collection of drawings of the Janitor wearing our clothes!! How would you imagine Julian in your day to day style?? Do you dress more formally? Maybe skater casual? The possibilities are endless!!
We are looking for submissions!! Be it art or writing. First come first serve!! If you want to participate be sure to fill out the form and we will message you the link to the official discord server.
Make sure to read the rules before submitting the form!!
Wishing you a swell day my fellow audience members~ đ

This seasonâs grand conclusion will be a special double episode out Wednesday, June 17.
Another Reason to Love Julian Koster even More
Listening to The Sea of Tranquility in the shower today, I was struck with this realization.
I just tried it and Iâm right:
Listen to Julian Koster singing in the released version of The Sea of Tranquility.
Then listen to Julian Koster as Julian the Janitor singing at the end of Naughty Till New Yearâs Season Finale Part 1.
Julian Koster can sing. Weâve all heard it. He sounds amazing recorded or live, sounds great on shitty cam recordings from the early 00s (and remember: these are shot on either tape or early digital cameras, phones couldnât record like that until fairly recently). And through whatever setup he uses to do his livestreams - none of which is the quality equipment used to record music for records.
Julian singing as Julian the Janitor, is just a wee bit off from perfect, especailly at the start. Heâs a little unsure and rusty (not a man that has been making music for decades). Though the story of Julian the Janitor with his Great Grandpa seems to indicate heâs got an ear for music, heâs just so damn afraid to be heard. So Julian the Janitor is not great, at first. Heâs shaky. A bit flat (at least to my decidedly not musical ear it sounds flat, I might be wrong).
And then...and then Julian Koster and Julian the Janitor gets to the chorus. And itâs goddamn joyous to hear him belt that shit out.
Now, pretty much all of the episode makes me cry. Iâm just so damn proud of Julian the Janitor. When The Narrator says âAnd becuase of you, he isnât embarrassed anymoreâ (a reminder that a soul so lonely as Julian the Janitor, who spends his time imagining a narrator to keep him company, isnât truly alone), I really start to cry. But I donât ugly cry until he gets to that chorus of The Sea of Tranquility and his voice SOARS.
I just...Iâm fucking in love with this manâs talent. Like he plays so many instruments. Writes lovely music. Created this fucking magical podcast. I could make a whole other post about Julian Kosterâs voice acting talen alone (seriously, I might). But this...this is a man who can sing, but has the guts and artistic integrity to sound not great (I wouldnât even call Julian the Janitorâs singing at the start of the song to be bad, just...not great). And I adore him for that.
(Also, heâs a fucking amazing human being who genuinely seems to love and care for everyone on this planet and sees the magic int he mundane world, but again, that could be another 12 posts.)
Wow, I canât believe there is absolutely no difference between this and the podcast

Broadcasting from my boat in the middle of the Seine, this is Julian, wishing you a good night.
