Some strange magic is woven into the fabric of the dress of the Altmer woman: it's as if parts of her are flickering in and out of existence as she moves silently through the crowd.

(she's a nightblade, the choice was obvious! this one is more themed along the ability the birthsign grants rather than the constellation itself, but instead of 'invisibility' i ended up mostly with 'oooh shiny dress'. which is fine too, i guess!!!

i didnt draw her last year bc she has no d/aedric interests but shes probably my oldest notable tes oc on account of being the first character i made in eso. also!: shes ciranil's older sister :3

im not entirely happy with how this drawing turned out (except for the moons in the background, those actually look kind of sick), and i started another version but then got bored of drawing that. it would have been something like this:

The Lady and the Lover

Not a day goes by without the courier arriving at our Lady's tower, and today would be no different. Although the last party invitation they recieved resulted in a run-in with the Dawnguard, it seems this time would prove to be better.

Taliesin: Dear, we've another invitation on the doorstep. Will we be declining this time?

Lyriea: That all depends, who is it from and what is it for?

Taliesin: Well, it seems that we've been invited to another ball, and- Oh we are absolutely going. I'm truly sorry Lyrebird, but this is one we cannot miss! Gore, you're in charge until we return!

Lyreia: Wait, don't I get a sa- [frantic packing for a trip to Solitude's Tailor begins]

Lyreia is my most recent (and only full playthrough) of skyrim, and her main two companions have been Taliesin(Lover sign) and Gore (not pictured). Having travelled from Morrowind to join the Mage's college, our Dragonborn, Lyreia, stumbled upon her now-partner, Taliesin. As the months went by, our strange duo found themselves in more and more trouble; from thalmor agents and dragon priests to Vigilants and vampires, all they could hope for is a day of peace. Sadly, that's a hard ask for the Arch Mage of the College of Winterhold and an Ex-Thalmor agent, but I think they can manage to miss a few days for a gala!

Our Lady chose a gown in a deep purple, representing her chosen school of magic, embroidered with the constellation of the Lady. Although her normal attire consists of dented plate and furs, she opted for a more delicate and feminine feel, truly encapsulating her rarely-seen softer side. And what better to imitate the stars with than glowing silver? Our Lover chose an elegant suit of navy, adorned similarly with his own constellation, but opted for a sharper, more elaborate look. Always has Taliesin had a flair for the dramatic, emphasized by his choice of jewlery - for them both, might I add.

TES Gala 2026 Update

Results are in for the last poll about changing the date. 54.5% were for it. 42.4% indifferent. So, we'll be changing the date for it. I was floating the idea of late May, so we'll go with that!

New Date: May 24th to the 30th, with the last day Saturday the 30th as a free day (as long as it covers fashion/parties). This gives an extra 3 weeks

If people miss this update and start submitting early, we'll likely be queuing up all the submissions then

A step in the right direction

After the troubling events of the previous night, our trio begins their search for answers. What better place to start than those claiming to know our assailants best: The Dawnguard.

Gore: You're not seriously thinking of joining the Dawnguard, are you blood? I don't know about you, but I haven't seen any of this "vampire menace" around.

Lyreia: No, not fully at least. But unless you know someone else who has knowledge of vampires, I don't see another option.

Taliesin: There is always Sybille, you know. You are aware that she is one, right dear?

Lyreia: Yes, but she doesn't seem to be causing trouble, and if Falk and Jarl Elisif don't seem to have an issue, neither do I. And, I doubt that she would so openly give that sort of information, assuming she had any to begin with.

Gore: Alright, blood, I'm with you. But if you start getting all "Pro-Mass Vampi-cide" on me, we're gonna have a talk. Taliesin: *nods* Lyreia: Fair enough. Let's get going, no sense in stopping now.

The Thalmor's Shadow Recast Announcement

OK! It's taken a couple of months, but I've decided I'm ready to move forward.

Pat Mahoney did an incredible job as the original voice for Taliesin and there will be some large shoes to fill. His original work will remain up on the Nexus.

This next project will be separate work with a new cast and different writing. I still have my original scripts so I'm able to work with Taliesin the way I intended before the VA stepped in as Co-Writer. So this version of Taliesin will different. Still the same in a few areas and still very snarky.

That being said. I'm looking for new VAs to be part of this project. If you know anyone who would be a good fit or would like to audition for a part, I have a C.C page up for all till the end of April.

A night to remember... (part 2/end)

As with most things in life, the best times are often short-lived. This pattern shows true as our duo winds down for the night...

The once-peaceful slumber of the Shadow and the Mage is stirred by a rustle from the door. Poised and ready, our Shadow calls out to the dark, urging it forward, only to be met the scarlet stare of someones Thrall...

Taliesin: Make yourself known, fiend. Thrall: For.. Morvath... Taliesin: Morvath? Who..

The Thrall crumbles to the ground as our Mage stirrs.

Lyreia: Tally..? What's going on? Taliesin: I'm not entirely sure. One minute I was blissfully asleep in a proper bed, the next a strange man was over our bed holding a dagger and a note. Horrible way to wake up, truly. Lyreia: Note?

Some shuffling later reveals a bloodstained missive, with a chilling warning:

Lyreia: It says "Find the Dragonborn and show her what it means to anger the children of Morvath," but it's been months since we cleared that den. Why come after me now?

Taliesin: Perhaps they didn't have the numbers, or the confidence. But, whatever - or whoever - they are, it seems they want you quite dead, Lyrebird. Lyreia: No kidding, Tal. *sigh* So much for retiring in that cabin you wanted. Taliesin: Retirement usually implies a certain level of safety. I'd like to reach that before we go resting on our laurels, wouldn't you?

Lyreia: I had hoped we'd reached that point already, truthfully. Let's go get Gore.

That's what they do at these things, right? I didn't stay long enough at Ellenwen's to see anything interesting. Taliesin: Ellenwen's parties are nothing but a business meeting, dear. There is no enjoyment in parading yourself around because you were expected there. This is different, and more fun!

Gore: You guys have fun, blood. Dancing and fancy clothes aren't for me. I'll hold down the house..tower.. while you're gone.

Lyreia: At least I don't have to think of what to wear...
