the girls are fighting....again!!!! (Reyansh being stubborn and Shura telling him to quit the circus for the 183838th time)

This time we enter basically another ordeal of Reyansh (1st page) realizing he sucks at Alchemy but hes a fast learner and is willing to try meanwhile Shura (2nd page) has a debt with someone to keep the prince safe (obviously reyansh doesnt know tht) but is also so full of jealousy and bitterness towards royalty that he calls reyansh's immortality and regeneration skills a 'shortcut', a fluke, a priviledge and a subtitute for his lack of technical skill, this makes reyansh more spiteful and wanting to work harder in the process. There has been a push and pull between them ever since Reyansh entered the troupe and Shura had been assigned to teach him alchemy. Reyansh got all the modals (his flesh regeneration) but knows jack shit on how to work around it and is super reckless about it too, And Shura, being the noble hating guy he is sees him and thought that there is no way that a prince could so much as reach his level, a young Alchemist who had come so far and has bled and worked his ass off in order to seek approval of other renowned scholars and most importantly, his family. Struggles that an exiled prince would never understand, let alone go through, all the while being ignorant that Reyansh himself, though a prince, isn't exactly well-off or has been treated well by royalty either. But he's got the spirit... that's why the drills are so intense.........legendary bitter rivalry BE UPON YE!!!!!

The troupe's day off pt. 2 (more context for each image in order below)

Fang, Savita, Reyansh, and Shura going out to do errands and buy everyday needs for the troupe. Filled with quips about 'when are we gonna eat' or ' I'm hungry' from Fang and Savita like the couple of brats they are, Reyansh fucking up the list of things they need to get, and Shura getting angry at all of them.

Reyansh's alchemy lessons with Shura. Reyansh going absolutely batshit crazy at every element he accidentally triggers, Shura judging him and doesn't even try to calm him down. He will probably give out remarks that would make him panic more (for his own entertainment)

Reyansh and Bulan bonding over batik and Reyansh giving a try at it. He gets burnt by the malam for at least 11 times and could never get to hold it properly for the first few hours of doing simple patterns

Adam is quite adept at anything related to threads -- and that includes embroidery. once in a while he teaches Bulan how to do some (because she asked to) in which she struggles a lot following him.

Reyansh getting dragged into a mission with Ahmad and Fang, mainly because they needed someone to scale buildings and claim things out of their reach and only someone as insane as Fang have the balls to do that, or Reyansh with his regenerations skills. two members they can kind of risk dying…(because they cant die, duh) Ahmad is there in case they decide to do anything stupid like harm other people (fang) or themselves (Reyansh)

minutes before the disaster of Reyansh and Shura burning down the communal kitchen and sending out bread for the locals

After each and every outing or session with each members of the troupe Reyansh retires to one corner of the Troupe's lodgings for the day and do what he does best, taking notes; mainly of any Alchemical findings worth noting or anything interesting happening in the day

Yes! I do sell my stuff mostly at comifuro!! And mostly also jakarta haha, ive been meaning to reopen my shopee for a while now or join other cons like Comipara for this year but nothing is set in stone yet, but i do love to join more cons focused on original works but i will always keep updating this platform as i go!

One thing I will always appreciate Fullmetal Alchemist for is the fact that they let Roy Mustang be complicit in genocide.

Mustang is an Atoner figure. Something that plagues Atoner figures is when writers are too precious about the characters we're meant to like to actually let them be guilty of something serious.

The Atoner might be trying to make amends for their involvement in the Great '87 Hotel Massacre, and then three seasons in you find out what happened. And it's like, "I drove a taxi to the hotel, and the KILLER was in it! I ferried the killer to the hotel! That makes me responsible, and now I must atone for being nearby while the killings took place! And also vanquish the real killer who is the villain for this season."

Or maybe the Atoner did do the killings but they were under mind control the whole time and would never, ever have done it in their right mind.

But FMA said no. Mustang, Hawkeye, Hughes, even Armstrong to an extent though he suffered a breakdown and fled during it. They did that shit. They followed their orders and they did that shit. And it haunts them.

Roy did that shit. And his atonement, his grand ambition, is to see everyone responsible for that shit brought to justice for their crimes. Including himself.

That is how you write an atonement plot.

Thesis defense done so i've finally get to yap about my ocs in here...so have what the troupe does in their free time:

1. Akram, the workaholic he is, sticks to wardmaking even during the weekends. Even when the others had gone to town bro just sticks to his carvings 2. Fang sleeps somewhere in the higher ground around the circus while the others search for him (happens way more often than one may think) 3. if he is not constantly wrecked by his many schedules, Adam would make it possible to have time for himself and fix some vibe of a rundown cafe in true adam fashion (playing the oud and fixing his strings) 4. Savita and Bulan quiet times includes them sitting in silence and doing their own thing, Savita coming up with a new design and Bulan scribbling down patterns for her new batik 5. after a huge quarrel Akram put Reyansh and Shura on cooking duty to teach them about the importance of teamwork and that alchemy is not merely an independent study where you make something together...but alas they set the communal kitchen on fire..........adam is not surprised

witch hat atelier is great because in the first few chapters it looks like its really just going to be a cute magical girl story about hope and friendship but then you keep reading and its about how fascist societies fabricate a social structure to divide how power and information is disseminated and what life is like as a disabled person in that society. and then its also still about hope and friendship, but if hope and friendship could kill you.

So meet Reyansh! The frequent cheeky-eyed, snarky character in all of my animatics who just happened to be the protagonist of the story I'm working on; he is an exiled, crown prince who happen to have the ability to regenerate and heal himself, hence, immortal.

At first he mistakes his regeneration as 'fast metabolism' and not some creepy stuff he inherited from his ancestors (it really is) because everyone in the royal court has been vague about his origins, or in other words, no one bothered to tell him where he came from. Despite being the crown prince people don't really hold him in much high regard or respect to pay attention to him. Which to some people may be considered odd, but to him its just a daily annoyance. Thus, he's stubborn enough to always commit sneaking out to find answers and watch shows from his favorite circus troupe where people...conjure elements from thin air (see artwork) until he got himself kicked out of the palace for...a very deliberate attempt of pushing someone off a balcony.

So his origins' a mystery, everyone in the court holds some kind of disdain for him, and it turns out he can regrow flesh from his wounds AND he is also hunted down by half of the population once he steps foot outside the palace walls because apparently no one told him that immortals were WANTED as all hell. But hey, at least someone wants him now...the earlier mentioned circus troupe! Getting adopted by a bunch of rogue, nomadic alchemists! in the worst ways possible... But with that he gets a day job! At working in the circus he's been frequenting ever since his teens. Starting as an errand boy until finally meshing his transmutable, versatile body along with the ensemble of elements created by the alchemists present, for yours truly!

Some #OCPOSTING on the side since i have nothing else to post because i have been sick and sick again and all i did was this oc animatic whenever I'm able so.

In this episode of the Exiled Prince shenanigans, Reyansh meets an apothecary by the name of Fang, who gets them into a bit of a pickle once he finds out that Reyansh is a homunculus —a man-made human with the same regeneration powers as him.

Since time memoriam, the life of the human was never free from ailments, such matters were inevitable no matter how hard one might try their best to avoid it. But how does one treat an impossible disease? One that was never meant to be cured or exist at all?

introducing my oc lore: a fantasy world inspired by the silk road and the golden age of islam, following an exiled prince and a band of alchemists passing off as a circus troupe navigating through different continents to find a cure to an immortal phenomenon caused by the monarchs.
