shocked and betrayed.
so you dated the wrong person and learned a hard lesson. you chose the wrong major and had to start over again. you cherished a friend who backstabbed you. it sucks, but it’s also going to work out. that’s life; you learn, hurt, love, cry, laugh, and keep going. you experience setbacks and you grow and it’s all okay.

Brushing your teeth at least once every day is better than none at all.
A few hours of sleep is better than none.
A few minutes outside for fresh air is better than none.
Writing a few paragraphs of the essay today is better than procrastinating till later.
Doing something is better than nothing (of course there is exception for some cases).
Do things at a pace which makes you comfortable whilst allowing you to make progress.
You can do this!

Sometimes in life, we need a few bad days in order to keep the good ones in perspective.
— Colleen Hoover, Maybe Someday
Keep going. Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life. Keep going. Tough situations build strong people in the end.

“I hope that in the future they invent a small golden light that follows you everywhere and when something is about to end, it shines brightly so you know it’s about to end. And if you’re never going to see someone again, it’ll shine brightly and both of you can be polite and say, “It was nice to have you in my life while I did, good luck with everything that happens after now.” And maybe if you’re never going to eat at the same restaurant again, it’ll shine and you can order everything off the menu you’ve never tried. Maybe, if someone’s about to buy your car, the light will shine and you can take it for one last spin. Maybe, if you’re with a group of friends who’ll never be together again, all your lights will shine at the same time and you’ll know, and then you can hold each other and whisper, “This was so good. Oh my God, this was so good.”

“It is no small art to sleep: for that purpose you must keep awake all day.” - Friedrich Nietzsche, Thus Spoke Zarathustra
“Be patient and allow yourself to grow at a pace that’s right for you. Progress takes time; don’t rush it.”
— Nicole Addison @thepowerwithin
sometimes you need to tell yourself that trying, showing up, getting out of bed, concentrating five minutes or writing five lines is already a victory by itself. the tiniest step towards overcoming your struggles is already perfection and something you should be proud of.
The universe does this thing… where it aligns you with people, things, and situations that match your vibration. The higher you’re vibrating, the more you will see things that are beneficial to your wellbeing manifest in your reality.
“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use the more you have.”
— Maya Angelou
