Shiro Head Cannons!

Happy Birthday to my little cheese! He's so good and a demon in battle if you give him the right skills and mom. He's also my lovely husband in another playthrough so I couldn't miss out on his birthday ;D - Shiro even though often seen as stupid is actually rather smart when he uses his brain (which startled the entire camp at first, especially Ryoma) - He was a late learner with chopsticks since his hands were very very beaten up as a child from his rough housing always eating with his hands - Before knowing he was a prince, Shiro planned on becoming a fisherman due to his skill - He learnt how to arm wrestle one day when he aimed to settle a disagreement with another boy who then waged a match - Because of his stubbornness and pride, Shiro didn't rest until he was able to win which took many months - Shiro held the record for highest amount of bones broken in his deeprealm much to his caretakers displeasure - As a child, he was independent. He'd often hear nervous whispers whenever he'd pass his caretakers, he never realized they were talking about how unfit of a prince he was - Having quite the temper, Shiro often stayed away from his caretakers who treated him kindly to his face but spread gossip behind his back - Bullying was never his forte surprisingly, and despite being brash and rude, Shiro disliked hurting those who could not fight back - ...But that never stopped him for pummeling anyone in an arm wrestling match - Due to his ability to dodge caretakers, Shiro never focused properly on his education which is something he secretly regrets - His biggest insecurity is how he might look stupid in front of people - Although he acts as though he doesn't care, and genuinely doesn't at times, Shiro often feels out of place during war meetings and even small talk with other royals - His reason for avoiding Siegbert for so long in Revelations was because of that - Shiro once tried to put on his father's chin armor as a child and somehow bruised his face - His headband is actually a piece of fabric from his mother's skirt that he accidently tore out of excitement oneday - Is deathly afraid of normal horses since he almost got trampled by one when he was younger - Loves Aunty Hinoka's pegasus though - Secretly enjoys cuddles and being coddled due to the lack of love in his childhood
