I’m on my Spider-Man rewatch right now and I’m realizing that J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson is like the anchor being for all the live action Spider-Men.

Imagine being Peter 2/3 in NWH and getting transported to a NYC where EVERYTHING is different, including yourself, except for J. Jonah Jameson. The guy who constantly dogs on you. He is the only thing that is the same. That’s gotta be frustrating.

I think the day J.K. Simmons dies is the day the rapture is going to start. We’ll all be cursed or something, like I can’t imagine a live action Spider-Man without him. He’s integral to the character.
