I’m currently focusing on tennis so i can make the team, so my life has been mostly tennis and sleep lolz!!! The internet situation hasn’t improved much either…. I’m making a whole new masterpost because my tumblr kept reloading/crashing when I tried to update the current one (i lost all my progress lmao….)!!! But it should be done soon-ish!!!

At like 22:00 (like an hour after I left, I almost stayed longer, never been so glad I left something early…) a car crashed into the crowd and killed one lady and injured sixteen more. Not only does this suck because this was a LITERAL TERRORIST ATTACK on PRIDE but also because the suspect they identified is Islamic. There’s already SO much hate around Islamic people and the conservatives running in the new election (who are anti-Islamic) are definitely gonna use this to say some racist shit and generalize a whole group of people down to criminals.
The whole areas closed off the right now and the victim name nor anyone else’s has been released yet.
Billie Joe Armstrong literally wrote a song about coming out as bisexual as a teenager, and then like two years later wrote one that was pretty much all about dressing up in drag and getting fucked by/fucking guys, and y'all STILL say he’s a “straight ally” because he married a woman??
The same goes for Freddy Mercury and David Bowie. Both were openly bi. Both wrote (multiple) songs about their queerness. Both are pigeonholed as either “gay” or “straight”. They were both neither of those things.

Like, yeah she does a lot and shows a lot of support for the LGBT+ community but she isn’t just an ally, she’s part of that community.

Also let’s add Lady Gaga to the mix. She’s repeatedly shit on for Born this Way for not being part of the community when she is, in fact, openly bisexual and writes song about being LGBT
