I’m visiting it for the first time in 7 years and I forgot how surreal the lack of hills is. There’s an artificial one I used to know of, an angular trapezoid of grassy dirt, which people found so novel they would bring their kids to it to show them what it’s like to be able to roll down any slope.

The reason they had to this is that apparently the old design of the train caused sonic booms and people living near the tracks were understandably less than thrilled by this.
