I’d seen most of the video from vancon of Jensen talking about putting Misha in the compression pants, but I hadn’t seen the beginning until today, and it’s Good.

I’m gonna transcribe the dialogue and then a gif of their faces during the dialogue

Heather Seidler (Rogue): “Working together for over a decade, bonds are usually forged and closeness seems inevitable. Not surprisingly, Jared, 34, and Jensen, 38, became real life besties. They were groomsmen at each other’s weddings. They bought houses close to each other (in Austin, Texas). They had kids at the same time. Padalecki has two sons, 4 and 2 years-old; Collins has a 6-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter; Ackles has a 3-year-old daughter and his wife is now expecting twins.

So how has the “Padackles” or “J-Squared” (as fans refer to them) relationship evolved over these past twelve years?” 

Jared: “When Jensen and I met, we thought we had the world by the balls and we found out together that we really did not. I’ve seen him fall in love, get engaged then get married and now become a father, and he’s seen me do the same. We’ve seen the same with Misha and we even though we joke that Misha is the “new guy” this is his 9th season so we’ve grown alongside him too. This show’s been a wonderful opportunity to really explore so many facets of a character, but also to see each other grow and I think it’s one of the few shows that’s been able to reflect that. We’re not young boys anymore, we are fathers and husbands and friends–we’ve seen birth and death and everything in between. I think there is a little bit of that camaraderie that’s reflected on the screen.” 

Seidler: “Both actors mirror the same fondness for their characters and their real life connection.”

Jensen: “I feel I was very fortunate to be cast alongside somebody I have so much in common with and got to build a relationship with and become just great solid lifelong friends. I think that’s an extreme rarity in any circumstance. Much less in your work environment, much less on a television show in an industry that is so fickle and can be feast or famine…Our kids get to play together and our wives are best friends, it really is a unique situation given the fact that it’s all sprung from a television series. So to be in our twelfth season and still get along as well as we do…it’s almost art imitating life. In the sense that everybody’s got my back and I’ve got theirs, on and off screen.”

Jared: “You can act it, but there is something intangible that happens to your characters on screen when you get along well in real life. I love Jensen and Misha and I’m there for them always, and they’re undoubtedly there for me. We’ve been able to grow together and raise money for charity and raise awareness for issues that are important to us. One of these days when the show is over, I’ll look back and reflect and think of the enormity of what this has all been and it will hit me. It’s kind of funny because even though it’s been so long, I haven’t really reflected. It’s almost like we’re in a football game and it’s halftime so it’s hard to talk about the game because the game ain’t over yet. One day I’ll be able to look back and think… wow that was something really special.”

IF I SEE ONE MORE POST OR MEME OR COMMENT SAYING JENSEN ACKLES IS HOMOPHOBIC OR ANTI LGBTQ+ I WILL SCREEEEAMM.

People think he's homophobic because he wasn't on board with destiel 10 years ago. He thought people only wanted to see him and Misha get together because all fans talked about back then was the sexual tension and asking inappropriate questions about him and his fellow male cast mates. Which is understandable....that shit is creepy. But he's come around to the idea of destiel and even agreed to doing a love confession scene that seals the deal that they're canon. Hes even started cracking light hearted jokes about it the past 5 years, i.e calling Dean and Cas' argument a "domestic dispute". He even called the confession scene MONUMENTAL. He talked about how eye fuck is written into their scenes. He's on board with destiel now that he knows people don't just want to see him make out with a man to get their rocks off. SO STFU. HE AINT HOMOPHOBIC.

And I saw something saying he was transphobic which is also FALSE. I remember seeing a trans fans story about meeting Jensen where they told him they were trans and changed their name to Dean and they talked about how he teared up and said he was proud of them, and he hugged them for a while. If anyone can find that story please send it to me. I would love to read it again.

Plus him and Daneel have been open supporters of the LGBTQ+ community for years and years. Hell, his beer company's profile pic on Instagram has the pride flag on it. Hes played a BISEXUAL CHARACTER BEFORE. SO I AM SHUTTING DOWN THIS JENSEN ACKLES SLANDER. SHUT UP. THE ONLY PEOPLE SAYING THIS STUFF IS PEOPLE WHO STOPPED WATCHING 10 YEARS AGO BECAUSE HE WASNT ON BOARD WITH DESTIEL. BUT HE IS NOW SO SHUT UP. One more post like this and I am personally going to each of your houses and stealing your pets.
