OK SO BACK AT MY MM AU, SO HEAR ME RAMBLE BECAUSE NOW WE ARE ENTERING AQUA TERRITORY
Ok- OK- So in my Aqua Au (Its more of a re-write but shuuuuush)
So we are keeping Luchia turning into Aqua Regina, however, they struck a deal and Luchia will only take her place after passing away, so she can spend more time with her family.
Rukia, takes more of her phantalassa heritage on this one, thats why she has not transformed into a mermaid, AND because she doesnt have a pearl yet.
Also im making that the mermaids become adults at age 18 because....??? I allways tought 14 was such a weird age???? specially when we see they are born as KIDS?
OK-- So Rukia, age 17, and daughter of the Pink Pearl princess.
Some new villian( Im thinking a rebel phantalassa faction) want to force marry Rukia to their lider. (Not knowking of Rukia's phantalassa heritage)
THE THING IS, LUCHIA TRIES TO PROTECT HER, BECAUSE SHES WANTS HER DAUGHTER TO MARRY SOMEONE SHE LOVES- AND LUCHIA *DIES* ON THIS FIGHT.
Rukia discovers her whole merfolk background... AND Luchia's pearl is now Rukia's... Allowing her to transform into a mermaid.
Kaito becomes too sadden over Luchia's death, and thinking he can no longer take care of Rukia (Also seeing her gives him pain)- He sends her with Hanon and Rina... so she can also learn of the mermaid world.
Rukia's coming of age ceremony comes around, all mermaid princess have come for it, to see Rukia turn into an adult, still sadden over her friend's death.
Do you remeber what happens when the mermaids come of age? They get to meet Aqua Regina.
The ceremony starts, and to everyone surprise, the queen of the sea that appears on front of them is not the Aqua Regina they met on their own ceremonies... But its Luchia.
Rukia breaks down, happy to see her mother again, and Luchia assures her, no matter what, she allways will be there for her, taking care and looking over her.
The other mermaid princess are also shocked at this.
And after some tears, at the end, there is a sense of hope, that Luchia is still with them, now a source of their power, that no matter what, their friend is still there, standing and fighting with them.
