I do think that there's something to be said about how "nerd culture" in general, and comics in particular, got sort of gentrified as they became big business and therefore mainstream culture. Like there was a wildness to them back when they were disposable shit for kids and weirdos that I feel has been kind of lost.

What is going on here? Is this a Sister Wives situation? Cult housing? It's a compound of a main house that's a mansion w/what looks like a residence on each end, plus what the listing calls 5 "junior estates," for a total of 15bds, 31ba, 5 half baths, 30,000sqft, $11m. Plus, a 22 car garage with 2 apts.

So, this is the mansion that would be the cult-leader's place, or who knows what? Doesn't it look like there's at least one separate house attached to it on the right?
