Healing Be Restored to You in the Mighty name of Jesus
The way Jesus revives those thirsty roots
Why is it Called Out of Egypts Reach?
What does that even mean?
There is your answer. Pick up a bible and read that verse
For added context read the Book of Exodus :)

The thing about Surrender
Sur·ren·der /səˈrendər/
To completely give up your own will and subjects ones thoughts, ideas, and deeds to the will and teachings of a higher power. It may also be contrasted with Submission.
I’ve come to realize that ‘surrender’ is a trickster of it’s own strength.
A deceiver if you will.
At first glance the act of surrendering seems easy, until God or your Pastor is yet again telling you to surrender for your soul depends on it; for the 10th time, within a span of two years (Luke 9:23)
Surrendering takes continuous dedication.
You must make up your mind to get to the root of why you’re surrendering in the 1st place.
In therapy they say “Acknowledging the fact that you need help is the first step”. The same concept applies to surrendering your burden(s) to Christ - whatever your particular burden(s) maybe. It can literally be ANYTHING. For example: a burden can be you no longer wanting to feel intimidated by woman/men, you needing to break free from watching porn and masturbation because you do it first thing in the morning and that release puts you right to sleep and your consistently late to work because of it.
A burden can be anything. There’s nothing too big or small.
The act of surrender shows humility, a low-self regard for oneself. By doing that your not only being brutally honest with yourself, but your also opening up to the Father and showing Him that you can’t solve these problems alone.
The steps to Surrender are as follows:
Recognizing that Jesus is Lord of your Life (Hebrews 11:6)
When you recognize a friend or a partner as someone you want to be devoted to, in a committed relationship. You take on what maters to them, you learn their love language and ultimately become an asset in their lives in which ever form that may be. In any relationship like that you will face uncomfortable seasons of tough conversations and and problems to resolve, etc. Now mirror that with Jesus being who your devoted to. As you build relationship with Him by reading the bible and meditating on His word you’ll begin to realize that relationship is something you don’t want to lose. Regardless of the uncomfortability, you stand ten toes down anyway.
This is a step that can not be skipped.
“I don’t want to read the Bible, it’s boring”
I’m sure if your best friend wrote a book, you will read it. If not your a crappy friend and need to re-evaluate your definition of love.
2. Coming to the Father with a heart of casting your cares onto Him
Most instances when this is being done, surface level burdens with lack of true understanding are being casted. We Say..
“I give my life to you” without understanding what that means
“God remove this taste of temptation from my tongue” without the knowledge of how the enemy is using certain things/devices to tempt you in the first place
Casting your cares are important, but it won’t work unless you have a real understanding of what you’re asking or getting to the root of the burden your casting.
From bullet #2 you make that your prayer request, now what happens when you start to feel that tempting urge? This is where your understanding comes into play. What does the bible say about being tempted by the enemy? (James 1:13) Why am I being tempted? (James 1:14) What should you do when being tempted?(1 Corinthians 10:13) (Galatians 5:16)(Ephesians 6:10-18). All these questions are answered in the bible. Build yourself up to overcome all obstacles, always think ahead in anticipation.
3. Workout your Salvation with fear and trembling( Philippians 2:12)
Sal·va·tion /salˈvāSH(ə)n/
Deliverance from sin and its consequences. To preserve from harm.
As touched on earlier surrendering to Jesus is foreign to our natural bodies, nothing about it is easy at first. Which is why we must be consistent day and night (Joshua 1:8) to harvest and reap the benefits (just like going to the gym). Remember the reason you decided to start this walk and give your life to Christ as you are responsible for your relationship with Jesus.

From the beginning of me actually taking my walk with Christ serious up until this point, I’ve been dealing with the same issues. Not to say that I haven’t applied what I’ve been learning but it was more so getting the keys to overcome addictions and to also understand what I’m up against
At times I find myself unsettled due to certain topics not being explained deeper or made plain for my understanding. I’m the only one in my family with an active relationship with God so I couldn’t ask for help. It was just God, Jesus, the Holy spirit and I.
I couldn’t be the only having this stumbling block so I figured; why not share what I’ve learned along the way - exactly how He explained it.
