Reblog if you're black tumblr.
You don’t have to be black, it just means you support us, you stand by us and your for us.
BLM is still a thing. If you don’t reblog this, but would’ve in June/July you were only in support of black lives when it was a trend. They still need justice
everyone deserves equality <3
Poc here!!!
this pride month please remember that the violence and discrimination against transfems, transmascs, nonbinary, and intersex people are all of equal importance and weight, and equally worth acknowledging and addressing. none of them have it better or worse than the others, we are all living under a system that seeks to erase and destroy us.
happy pride month 🏳️🌈
tomorrow’s my birthdayyyyyyy
Autumn’s Bloom
So take pride in the auburn leaves that coo, For that is the beauty of autumn’s bloom.
banner cred:@poisonharvey
I forgot the divider cred sorry.
Once h’rvest's last leaf falls,
and maple trees amb'r sap begins to cool
and the husky wind calls,
‘Nd life will be sprung soon,
for fall's breath brings about anew
that is the beauty of Autumn's bloom.
To many, woven snowfl'kes,
That cover the rusty earth,
cones taking up the girth
and Bloom into sn'wy blue—
must be a tell tale sign of bringing death—soon
So once again, winter's whisp'rs brim,
as the ground is stained with auburn limbs.
For that is the fast g'st of winter's raggedy full moon.
For fall's breath brings about anew,
that is the beauty of Autumn's Bloom
hunger’s hymn
No one fears drowning when you’ve been under the water for so long When you’ve been discouraged to swim for so long. I stuff an appl3 Down As the numbers rise My stomach bugles Hunger does not hymn to me As I take another bite Glut instead of pray My mind a milky haze I can’t pray I can’t stop Another mistake Misused worth As st. Tunn shakes her head, M’stumach bugles w/ tem-po-rary Relief. I need the pressure on my teeth I need to pray these thoughts away Yet another knot of steak calls my name To drown the hunger I should pray Yet god doesn’t holdout a light to Me In this endless sea of tears and sweets My stomach bugles after I eat Yet it always bugles, even when I sleep My thighs rub together—they’re thick Lewd thoughts coat them w/ slick To pray these lewd thoughts away I would do anything B’fore god strikes down with judgement day And everyday, I wonder if god had a say When casting me to the earth and shackling me in misery But does it matter? For all the times I’ve called out Only facts have reached out That I’m allowing my misery To consume Me My stomach bugles every day of the week I feel disgusting for eating—I feel weak

Back in the late phases of my MLP:FIM phase when I was like, 6 or 7 (no pun intended) I used to alternate between shipping and no shipping. I know a lot of people ship Rainbow dash and Applejack, because like—they’re married or implied to be (this was part was written 1/3/26.)
(6:4:26) I used to ship flutter dash.

A name is a shackle
To use my name, y'u breathe six letters upon me To ch'nge my name For e'sy vocal release Would release me, Into a endless pit Of embr'ssment A slave name, You have bestowed upon me. Escape, I must, from the spark that is babe to a flame.
All my life, I have stayed the same A slave to kindnesses A slave to Y*UR name. Freedom is something my mind cannot comprehend,
To u, I'm a slave to my skin, Brown enslaved by words and my kin. I feel t'rn, as St. Tunn's words sink in Not culture you say, as the blizzard tribe strips me of my African name. As curly as my locs m'y be I'll never be black to feel as black as I'm supposed to be. Yet, (I) Brown enough to hang under th* tree. To remove my name, to forget the name I champion under, You snuff out the spark The spark that came when St. Tunn struck me As she rules my brother and I.
They say, to name is to d’fine And to respect, d’v’ne
To her, I am a slave ev'ry day. For now, as she screams out a name, I respond, Freedom I have disregarded for safety, As I drift away, For is a name a shackle? Or is a shackle a name?
"Being rude is easy. It does not take any effort and is a sign of weakness and insecurity. Kindness shows great self-discipline and strong self-esteem. Being kind is not always easy when dealing with rude people. Kindness is a sign of a person who has done a lot of personal work and has come to a great self-understanding and wisdom. Choose to be kind over being right, and you’ll be right every time because kindness is a sign of strength." U.N. Owen.

Coco Gauff: "I'm not going to apologise for the way that my hair looks because there are other girls who have the exact same hair as me. "My hair was good enough for a high fashionable brand like Miu Miu. If my hair is good enough for that, then yours is too." Right on!
What Happened:
Coco Gauff has faced comments (especially online) about her natural hair—things like it being “messy” or not fitting traditional (often Eurocentric) ideas of what “polished” looks like. Instead of conforming, she pushed back.
Her message is simple but powerful:
She’s not apologizing for her natural hair
She’s affirming that girls who look like her are already enough
She’s calling out double standards in beauty expectations
When she mentions Miu Miu, she’s making a point: 👉 If her natural hair is accepted and celebrated in high fashion, then nobody else should be made to feel like it’s not acceptable in everyday life.
This hits deeper than just hair:
It challenges Eurocentric beauty standards
It speaks to Black identity, confidence, and representation
It empowers young girls to stop shrinking themselves to fit in
It’s also part of a bigger cultural shift where more athletes, celebrities, and everyday people are proudly showing up as they are—no apologies.
Racists will forever and a day not mind their own damn business. They tug on us daily, trying to steal our joy.
Mortal Maiden
sum:
“Hush!” “Hush!” Can you hear it? The call of the Mortal Maiden? Even across a sea, lies a great tree, Where mother maiden is the queen bee Feasting on Male Melodies.
Women outcasted by their small island of Litcha, left on a boat, forever drifting across the vast sea, are pulled in by a primordial and kind entity known as the Mortal Maiden, she is the tree, the one who lets her daughters rest on the branches of her body. Blessing them with enteral and collective peace.
I’ve seen too many shows (mostly kids shows but still [id argue that’s even more important]) almost romanticise people pleasing in a way.. the characters are treated as almost heroic and the only consequences to people pleasing is their own pain and it’s treated as heroic… even when the characters learn their lesson it’s treated as “aww poor baby, you care so much about other people you don’t see yourself” which is true but dosent feel like actual criticism
Heck the characters in those shows end up getting exactly what people pleasers want due to their people pleasing, love and friendship so it’s refreshing to have digital circus show the reality of such behaviour in ragatha, she’s not this hero everyone loves that sacrifices herself too much, she actually struggles to connect with others cause others are not sure if she’s genuine or not.
As someone who was a huge people pleaser in middle school I think I would stop much quicker if people pleasing was shown in it’s pure, ugly form like in tadc and not as some sort of a heroic almost positive trait that just costs you your own pain. It costs you genuine connection and dosent make you a better person necessarily, it’s just another unhealthy coping mechanism tadc is it for kids but I feel like it’s a show I’d watch back then and it would be very helpful
