so it’s @scruffyturtlesreformed’s birthday today, and i just had to draw him a little somethin’-somethin’.  this is him and his top 4 favorite characters!

next up in nox arcana is our dear “halfling” marcelo snowglow!  he’s an assassin rogue and baby devotion paladin of sarenrae.  we call him our eldritch carpet because he’s kind of three bodies sewed together and frankenstein’ed to life (and if you know curse of strahd at all, you probably have an idea who did it).  he’s 2/3 halfling, 1/6 elf, and 1/6 dwarf––literally.  (also that fluffy thing on his back is a direwolf-pelt cape)

he’s snarky and carefree, but of course, that hides a bunch o Trauma.  he’s a bit of a bitter lad rn because he thought he had a wife and daughter (he’s a bit of an amnesiac and can’t really remember more than a month or two ago except in flashbacks) but it turns out that’s because the one of the ghosts of the bodies marcelo’s made out of, nicolas newtan, decided to try and spur marcelo to get vengeance for the ghosts and help them rest by using his memories... forgetting that marcelo would believe fiona newtan is his wife and ellie newtan is his daughter.  it was not a fun revelation, but he’s getting better.  rose durst is his daughter now and all who try and hurt her will Perish

why do i never do queues right

anyways, next nox arcana member!  her name is fainn níl and she’s a trickster cleric of beshaba––meaning she’s the only evil member of the party (neutral evil, in fact).  

she used to be a cleric of the moonweaver, but after getting jealous and trying to burn a woman at the stake for getting too close to her friend, the moonweaver dropped her like she’s hot (and she is but hey).  while in barovia, beshaba took interest in fainn and her interest showed in fainn growing antlers, and now they’re working together to create havoc and generate power for fainn––cuz that’s all she wants.  now, luckily, she likes the party more than anyone at the moment, so she’ll stay with em!
