Someone on Twitter said this yesterday, and I agree with her. If the “head of the fish is rotten, it will make the rest of the fish rotten.” She went on to explain that, at this point, Caitriona can do anything, XYZ about her “wedding news,” but it is too late. The head is rotten....

Yes, Tony is worthy of respect as a human being. Yes, I believe he isn’t a bad guy.

However, I don’t understand OL folks on Twitter or anons accusing shippers/ex-shippers of not treating him well. When, In fact, his “partner” has treated him worse than anyone IMO and we followed her lead. If he was significant, why just throw coats, sunglasses and object to hold continuously without even a look. Worse, why throw a coat at him and then proceed to smile and wait on your costar seemingly joyful while he finishes signing autographs, merged together schmooshed and walk into a movie premiere together (so close in fact, we thought originally they were holding hands) and leave your “partner” literally in the dust without a backwards glance.

Why attend the EIFF with your new “partner,” pose with your costar and high-five him, look adoringly at him but then leave your”partner” standing by himself with your back completely to him while you ignore him and socialize with others?

Why leave him on the curb with your paid team without a look back and drive off, letting him walk to his hotel by himself?

Wny introduce him curtly to Jodie Foster and then continue conversation with her and Kristen Stewart, while relegating him yet again to assistants.

Wny in every single tennis picture for YEARS, you look bored, unfriendly and converse with others animatedly?

Wny at awards ceremonies, when the video team zooms In on your table, your “partner” and you are never talking or engaging yet when it has been you and your costar, you have been smiling, laughing, in your bubble and look happy?

Why do you walk 10 paces away from your “partner?”

Why do you claw-hold or just seem unable to really touch the guy much (and vice versa x 10)? Believe me, my friend watched the entire BAFTA right before the engagement.

Why did you completely forget to mention his name at your very first award win, and thank your “partner every day” with tears?

Why did you submit your any partner to a Dublin papwalk?

Why have you not put him on ANY of your SM like normal people.

Wny are you using your “private/it’s only for me” most important moment of your life to let others talk about it and spread it through hashtags, gossip and tabloids?

It’s too late now. The head of the fish is rotten. And body language does NOT lie, no matter how hard you try to rectify it mid-stream (which is kindof funny considering two of the three players are actors).

Anything done or said now is too late. How are we to respect your “partner” or your “privacy” when you clearly don’t?

We have no positive proof that Cait got married to Tony, just rumors and innuendo. At first it seemed it might be true, but as of yet I don’t find anything of actual proof they are married. Some have turned this into a real fiasco and it’s not a pretty picture. Have a drink relax and stay away from the shit throwing blogs. It’s my new mantra now. I get sucked into it and regret it later. Best to everyone dealing with this targeting of people. They don’t know any more than the rest of us. I don’t ship any more, but I still have faith the show might get better. If not, then that’s it for me. I’ve been here since day one and I have my beliefs as I know others do. I don’t give a rats ass if any one thinks I am delusional in my beliefs or not, but you can’t point fingers and hurt people over what you think you might know. Lest we forget... This video brought out an "Awww" and in less than a minute later,a giggle from me. At the 0:10 mark Caitriona gives Sam a hug and maybe a peck on the cheek as he was explaining to her that he may have said something to the previous interviewer that may incriminate them. So he was worried about repercussions. Wifey of course throwing caution to the wind, realized her man needed comfort so she gave it to him. And he said right after this, under his breath "She's the best!" That's when I said "Awww." then about the 0:28 mark, a fan had shaken hands with Cait first, then reached across Caitriona to shake with Sam and the fan was holding a bit longer to Sam's hand and so the fan got this "stink eye" and "incredulous" look from Caitriona and that's when I gigled because it just goes to show how she is very possessive of Sam. Both cute moments in the SamCait Love Universe!!! Go Cait Go!!! He tells the public he misses you! How about you? (Not my original idea) Just reinforcing it here.

I'm about to get on a plane in 45 minutes so this will be short and sweet and voice to text from my terminal. Please excuse typos.

Take Jeffrey Hirsch, Chief Operating Officer of Starz and now the guy with the most power there since Albrecht left and his comments about women watch Outlander because Sam is eye candy and they like when he takes his shirt off. Stir in a little bit of Chris Parnell, The Co-president of Sony Pictures Television, and his comment about aggressive shippers. Turn up the heat with number one ass kisser Lynette Rice , always sticking it to shippers and helping people like Parnell get his message out. These men make millions of dollars with billions of dollars worth of responsibility. Yet this is what they focus on?

What do you have? You have a recipe of a studio and a network who do not want their lead man to be seen in a relationship with his female co-star because that takes away the perception of what they believe is the majority of female fan fantasy. Newsflash gents, it's not. It's just a few vocal people who feel that way. They're the delusional ones, not us . Other comments Hirsch made today indicate they have their own, extremely out-of-date opinion of what women want and why people love Jamie and Claire.

Sam & Cait may be the ones who come up with how to execute that strategy that they are forced to deal with. They're the ones who decide how to deal with the cave, and only bring out the scissors when it gets to be too much. They may have liked the privacy some of the time but six years later, it feels a little heavy. It also explains the extreme deflection that we see when they are caught or slip, like the coffee run pictures and Cait forgetting to wear her fengagement prop in the airport selfie.

If my mind was 90% made up before, Hirsch just move the needle again.

That's it. That's the Muse. I sure hope they don't make me check this very large carry-on.

Do you believe the hand holding picture is fake? Also, you are always rational, do you believe Sam would actually go so far as to “date” this actress? Maybe this is part of his PR team’s strategy as he is getting closing to his movie premieres

I’m no Photoshop expert by any means but the picture doesn’t look real to me and the whole thing is Shady in terms of how it even saw the light of day, and how the female is cropped out. They take a drop of water and invent a swimming pool and half the shippers Dive In. And the other half of us are pouring chlorine in as fast as possible.

As I said this morning as long as Cait is fengaged, I don’t think it hurts Sam to be seen in the company of a random female from time to time. Funny how they always pick ones that live a continent and an ocean away, including the latest. They might want to spread the timing out a little better though.

Stop for a few moments and think about all the thousands of words devoted to a very obviously manipulated photo and think about the fact that photos are here on tumblr that show Sam lives with Caitriona at their primary residence and is in a committed relationship with her.

Why indulge in the constant brow beating every single time this happens. They can not even manage to successfully photoshop hand holding with another woman. Sam looks emotionless in the pathetic attempted relationship “reveal”. He has repeatedly shown very different expressions , when he is looking at women he loves… Caitriona;his mother, evidenced when she attended the first doctororal ceremony. Even with female friends and co-stars. His face is expressive and alive. Not dead as has been the case in all the ‘fake girlfriends’.

Let’s not forget that Tony was NOT in Glasgow at all during Easter 2019. That airport photo could just as easily have been the two of they walking down Hyndland Street getting coffee. Or getting lunch in the many outdoor cafes along Ashton Lane. The weather was glorious. Caitriona and Tony could have been just been as relaxed and casual as Sam and Caitriona were. They weren’t BECAUSE TONY LIVES IN LONDON.

Weekends are reserved for Sam and Caitriona. Be they in London or Glasgow, it involves going to the theater, or dining in on Good Friday and getting out to get a coffee from their favorite place in Glasgow. Tony turns up in dark shades for a reason.

To start many seemed to miss the news that Sam came home, yes home, 3 hours before Caitriona.

Now the timeline was the Spanish fans had seen they both. At some point Sam was dropped off to get their own car. Davie did not drop Sam home. He drove himself. He arrived home at 5.45pm on Good Friday. It wasn’t a public holiday for all which I found unusual. The schools were closed and some businesses but otherwise it was business for some.

There had been questions concerning working on a public holiday.

Sam was wearing the same black jeans, T-shirt and leather jacket.

To say I was lucky with timing would be an understatement. Once I saw Sam I made the decision to stay. My heart was pounding. It really was a dilemma for me. But as we all know I chose to stay. I figured Caitriona would follow shortly. It was three hours.

I essentially followed Twitter to gauge her movements. When she came online I knew it was a matter of minutes before she arrived home. I had time to settle my nerves.

Back to Sam. He parked the Audi that I photographed. He greeted the Neighbour and let himself in. And stayed there for 3 hours. Not as a friend/co-star but as man who lives at that residence.

I didn’t get out of the car…because 😬 but I could see him. Just moving around.

Caitriona arrived at 8.50pm. She was dropped off by Finnie.

Nerves and conscience got the better of me and I badly messed up the video I took. First try was mostly a failure.

And finally I saw them together.

I left to go to a very late dinner. But returned to see if the car had left. It hadn’t. It was in the exact same place. When I returned it was 11.30pm.

Now most likely I’m going to be hammered for this. Mainly from shippers. I give zero fucks what the other side say. Because they are so wrong about so much.

Did I invade their privacy, yes. From the street. What are the ethics. It’s for you all to decide. Each to their own.

Last weeks photos had so many sending me DM’s wanting assurance. I can say that they live together as a couple. I believe that they are married and have been for years.

This is their primary home. There aren’t multiple residences to use as cover as some would like to suggest. It’s the two within 10 walking minutes of each other. The other apartment is another story.

Thank you for your honesty. While in Glasgow last July, I walked by Sam’s (formerly Cait’s flat) and then on to Cait’s new flat. No one was home at either residence as they were both done filming and gone. Was I stalking? Some would say yes. I chose to walk by..plain and simple. Would I make the same choice again, to walk by….yes. You are correct it’s a 10 minute walk from one to the other.

The immigrant reality in the US

Some of you know I recently returned from 10 days on the US-Mexico border. I went because I wanted to have a first hand experience of the reality of immigrants and refugees. I speak Spanish, have worked with immigrants in Kentucky for 20+ years, and work in health care, so I have skills that could be put to good use. Earlier this year, when we were making arrangements for the trip, I knew it would be impossible for us to visit a detention center. But we made arrangements to volunteer at the Refugee Welcome Center, run by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Brownsville, TX. The Center welcomes refugees who have just been released from detention.

I am still processing what I saw and learned on the border, hence I have not told many of you about it yet. I am posting this today because the Trump administration plans to conduct raids on immigrants in several US cities tomorrow. I want to share just two stories, shared with me by young women who were given temporary legal status by ICE and came to the Refugee Welcome Center for food, clothing, and rest as they awaited a bus or plane to take them to meet their husbands, both of whom have full-time jobs in US industries heavily dependent on immigrant labor, that is agriculture and construction. All of their belongings are taken from them at the detention center. ALL of their belongings, even diapers for the toddlers and babies.

First, a woman from Honduras traveling with her 3 daughters, ages 8, 9, and 13 to reunite with her husband who works in construction. She confirmed what I read in a New York Times article in April, specifically that women are being skinned alive if they stand up to the gangs to prevent their children from being being kidnapped by the gangs and forced to “run” drugs. Yes, women are being skinned alive. WHAT HUMAN BEING WITH ANY MEANS TO GET TO SAFETY WOULD NOT GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE???

Second, a young mother from Guatemala, traveling with her 2 year old toddler to reunite with her husband who has been a sponsored farmworker for the last 5 years. She had a job in a larger town near her village which required her to walk a mile on a very rural road, then take a bus to the town where she worked 10-12 hours, 5 days each week. Earlier this year, she was raped on the walk to the bus. She had good reason to believe her attacker knew where she lived, so she was fearful for her own safety, as well as her son’s safety.

These are real human beings, people who have hopes and dreams just like the rest of us. Unfortunately, they live in countries which have been destabilized by US foreign policy and intervention. If you find that hard to believe, just search “how the US destabilized Central America” and you will no longer be able to deny that we have contributed to the migrant crisis.

I am the descendant of strong German and Irish immigrant farmers who settled in rural Kentucky in the 1840s. My parents and grandparents and ancestors built churches in our small towns, contributed to the life and well-being of their communities, and left a legacy of respect for the innate worth of every person. I stand on their shoulders. What motivated and inspired them? Very simply these words from the Gospel of Matthew:

‘Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry and gave you food, or thirsty and gave you something to drink? And when was it that we saw you a stranger and welcomed you, or naked and gave you clothing? And when was it that we saw you sick or in prison and visited you?’ And the king will answer them, ‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.’

I am not including photos out of respect for the immigrants. This photo shows the only hand-pulled ferry still in operation in the US, between Los Ebanos, TX, and Diaz Ordaz, Mexico. The ferry was just leaving the Mexico side.

Now feels like as good a time as any to post this. I took this video on 9/7/17, the day Cait had a spot on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. This was during Outlander S3 Promo Week in NYC. I’ve been hanging onto it for a little while.

A few of us (@@queencaitrionaand @superfluffycool and I) went to stand outside the back door of Colbert to hopefully see Cait when she arrived/left the show. She didn’t get to stop and say hi on her way inside, so we waited an hour or so to hopefully be able to see her on her way out. What we didn’t know at the time was that she would be rushing from Colbert to get to the Calvin Klein fashion show downtown, so she wouldn’t be able to stop.

Her team came out before her: her hair stylist, publicist, etc. You can see them gathered on the street there. Someone who knows more than I do can probably point out and label them individually. And guess who was among them? Personal Assistant of the Year, Tobrian McGill, standing there waiting with the other members of Cait’s professional team. As soon as I spotted him, I started recording.

When Cait came out, she bid farewell to her team and got into straight the car to leave. Did not pass Go, did not collect $200. No one accompanied her aside from, obviously, her driver. T left with the rest of her team. You can’t see much of this, but her car/the door/Cait are all to the left of the frame.

In the video, you can hear @superfluffycool and I talking. SFC was understandably confused and annoyed at the sight of T. Then I pointed out that he was not getting in the car with her, and that’s when we kind of started to freak out. A boyfriend would get in the car. A boyfriend would, at the very least, see her inside the car - as, I should point out, we have seen Sam do for her multiple times. A boyfriend, even if he were not attending the fashion show with her, would get dropped off at their hotel (or wherever his next stop was) in the same shared car. T did not. He was clearly there for a professional obligation.

I’m sure that Cait and T are great, close friends. In this industry, it’s hard to have a personal assistant that’s isn’t a trusted friend - especially if you have big secrets. But is he anything more than that to her? I wouldn’t bet a penny on it. His behavior and body language - in this video and the recently posted fan pic - show absolutely no indication that they are romantically interested in each other. Frankly, it’s the exact opposite of what we see with Cait and Sam. It’s that easy, and it’s why I’m still shipping: I have eyes.

Hello, Jess. First of all I'm sorry, this is going to be a biiig ask. But please don't give up on me. Part I: Well, I'm one of those people you call Antis or Monkeys. Or at least I thought I was. My big problem with a fact that Sam and Cait had a romantic involvement was always about the big negative impact it would have on the show. I've waited a long time for Outlander and I don't want anyone to ruin it. Many of us think so.

PART 2: I saw some show be completely ruined because of the involvement of the protagonists. I thought that way. I thought the show was more important than Sam and Caitriona, I always thought. Until I met them face-to-face this weekend in Seattle. I don’t have the “Shipper eyes” that you have, I don’t know what that is. My eyes are only very realistic eyes, so I’m perplexed by what my eyes have seen. This is the first time I write this…

PART 3 Dude it’s so hard for me to write this…. But, they are a couple. It’s fact. They love each other. They aren’t just good friends. There is something more powerful surrounding these two people. I believe in great friendships, but this is not the case. It was not a great friendship I saw, as I always thought. They complete. They love each other. Like a man loves a woman. Like a woman loves a man..

Part 5: Today I got home and I felt bad for being so selfish. I think most of us are selfish. We don’t care about their happiness, we just want to be right and protect the show. So I reflected that Outlander is this: just a show. And Sam and Cait are people, human beings . One day the show will end, but until then what will we have done with the lives of these two people with all our expectations and all our pressure?

Part 6: So today I’m retreating from the other side. I’m not going to use instagram anymore to support Sam’s possible girlfriends. I will not send more information to ******* and ****. I deleted a Twitter account that I used to do a lot of things involving them and other people. I want Sam and Caitriona to be happy. I don’t want to feel responsible for stop them from being free to live what they feel because as I said, my eyes are realistic. And what I saw in Seattle was real.

Wow I’m going to be honest here, this brought me to tears. I’m extremely impressed by your honesty and your willingness to change anon and I kind of want to hug you right now! Thank you for being brave enough to send this to me! xoxoxo

This is fascinating to me as I never understood how someone could find the ruin my show filter as anything but selfish. Maybe because I’ve had the chance many times to see my other celeb as a person. I saw what anon saw in Seattle but I saw it a year and a half earlier in San Diego. Dude, they were MAKING OUT when they got to the top of the escalator and to the back stage door of ballroom K. I saw it with my own eyes. At that time I didn’t even know there was a denial and I was confused by all the nonsense afterward. So yeah. They’ve been a couple for a while. And they adore each other.
