Tonight's bath and after bath facial care was all provided by lushcosmetics! And apparently the color green now that I look at it... but Lush products are amazing! Herbalism is an amazing face wash and then when combined with the Mask of Magnaminty it's almost magical! The mint of Magnaminty combine with the steam of a shower is just ugh! There are no words! Both have crushed almonds to help draw impurities from the skin as well! Squeaky green is a fabulous solid shampoo that makes my hair feel so clean and smell so good! Especially when combined with the Jungle solid conditioner! Jungle doesn't give you that slippery feeling that normal conditioners do in the shower but you can feel it when you start to wash it out and it made my hair feel soooo soft once it was dry! Breath of Fresh Air is a toner water with a soft clean and fresh scent that just smells great and feels so refreshing to the skin. Imperialis is one of Lush's face creams and it is making my skin feel so soft and hydrated! All I have is a sample of of it right now and I will be comparing it to Vanishing Cream once I run out of Imperialis! Not pictured above is my Dirty soap bar! I absolutely love this soap! It smells Amazing! I will totally be rebuying this and most likely the rest of the products mentioned above in the future! So if you haven't tried any products from Lush before i strongly recommend them!

So I did some shopping at Lush on Black Friday! I needed to restock on bathbombs and got some new items to try. They didn't have any sales but that didn't really matter to me since I LOVE their bath bombs, solid shampoos, and soaps that I have tried! For those who don't know, Lush hand makes all of their products with mostly natural ingredients! The brand is also very big on helping end the use of real fur in the fashion industry! So the products are perfect for someone looking for more natural alternatives for body and skin care and hygiene or cosmetics and hair dye and support a good cause! They have some amazing Christmas themed products and cutely wrapped gift boxes so you should definitely check them out!

So this is the stuff that was in my face yesterday! Gotta look pretty even on night shift! I’m really loving the Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot Blush pallette right now. It’s one of their holiday pieces, and it’s got 5 blushes and then the Hoola bronzer and a sample of the What’s Up highlighter. The pallette pretty much has a color blush to go with whatever look you are going for on any particular day! I also totally love my CKOne mascara, and it’s pretty much my holy grail mascara! It makes my lashes long and helps to curl them with no clumps! It’s fabulous!

Today's Workout

Just a simple workout today, nothing fancy. I decided on to focus on arms today and then just balanced out with some jumping jacks, squats, calf raises and some crunches. I got the arm workout from my pinterest which you can check out by following this link: My Pinterest

But today for my arm workout I did: 20 Pushups 20 Bicep Curls 20 Shoulder Presses 20 Upright Rows 20 Tricep Extensions and I repeated it 3X. I used 3lb weights for the curls, presses, rows and extensions. I also included: 200 Jumping Jacks 150 Crunches and 150 Squats These were broken into sets as well but I forget of what! Sorry! This isnt the most extensive workout clearly but at least it's something!

Yoga

Today was a yoga day! I did Daily Burn's balance flow yoga practice! Its a pretty challenging flow but i haven't done yoga in like 2 or 3 months so that probably has a lot to do with it! Doing this flow today reminded me of just how stiff I had gotten so I will clearly be doing more in the future!

Yoga is just so relaxing. I always just feel so loose and relaxed when I'm done even if I panted and sweated a ton while doing it. Yoga also just helps you reconnect with your body which was something that I needed. After I get back into practicing regularly, my back pain will probably melt away like it did during the spring when I was doing yoga almost daily. But it helps not only the body but the mind as well. I feel like my mind is clearer, I worry less and I am just more content with life in general when I practice yoga. Which is something you don't really realize until you restart your practice after having stopped for an extended period.

On a different note! For anyone looking for a cheap in home exercise program I would totally recommend Daily Burn! There are so many different exercise programs or you can just choose from the individual routines themselves and make your own! And its only $10 a month! There is a bit of equipment you may need like free weights or a yoga mat but that really depends on you and your level of fitness.

I was once again up at 8:30am and I have to work tonight from 7pm-7am so that should be tons of fun....so wish me luck! I'm gonna need it!

Sleepy Times and Renewing the Blog

So tomorrow is going to be my first night as a night shift nurse. I worked a 12 hour day shift yesterday then stayed up until 3:30AM to try and start making this transition. What time did I wake up this morning however? 8:30!  Looks like I'm in for another long day and night. Hopefully I will actually sleep until a decent hour! 

I did get a lot of things done last night though! I'm surprisingly productive in the middle of the night! I moved recently to Rome, Ga and have been setting up my house but combined with work and a lack and want to its been a slow unpacking process. But now the entire top floor is almost done! I just need a few decorative baskets to hold a few things! And all the first floor just needs is for  everything to be put in its place!

So this was just kind of a boring life update post because I decided to actually use my blog to blog about myself some as well. But in the future the blog will contain some diet and fitness things, makeup, crafts and creative projects, Lush bath time fun times, some of my favorite music and some fashion with a dose of nursing humor to boot!

Maybe I will be able to keep up with this.....
