Calling the move a long-overdue fix for one of the sport’s most glaring flaws, PGA tour officials announced plans Thursday to begin stationing goalies in front of every golf hole. “For far too long, golfers have faced virtually no resistance when trying to put the ball in the cup, and fans have grown tired of watching players sink the ball on literally every hole,” said PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan, explaining that the addition of 6-foot-5 netminders in full pads would finally force players to earn each birdie instead of simply knocking the ball toward an entirely unprotected hole.

I would have said that even if I were a cog in the machine, I would not like to see myself as a cog in the machine. I would like to see myself as a cog who is shooting for the stars and could go into any machine I want to and become a bigger cog or a cog shaped like a different cog. I would redefine the whole cog argument, that's what I'd do.

it’s so magical and beautiful that there are sprawling interconnected cave systems carved deep into the earth by various geological forces and you don’t have to go in them. there are miles and miles of stone passageways in total darkness that require you to exhale all the air out of your lungs to squeeze through parts of them and you don’t have to be there. some of these squeezes are underwater and require cave divers to take off their oxygen tanks and push them through ahead of them and me i am above ground looking at the sky as we speak. there are untold subterranean wonders no human has ever seen and i will not be the one to discover them #grateful #blessed

I really didn't realize how much the Columbia explosion scared me until I was watching Artemis II take off. My heart was pounding so fast. I was so scared for them.

We have humans in deep space for the first time in years. In two years, ideally, we will land on the moon again.

It's just nice to have good things from a government agency. Novel, these days. They're orbiting the earth and working out minor issues with their toilet and comms and probably at this moment at least one of them is sleeping. In space. And I think that's incredible.
