        Abe thought for a moment and looked around, spotting the nearby housing directory. He supposed he could find his way home from here.

        He didn’t want to inconvenience the robot too much, in any case.

        “A bit, yes. But don’t worry too much; I’m sure I’ll be able to find my way home.”

Bloom; Flower Festival ✿

      ✿ For the first time in what feels like forever, spring’s warmth beats clear and strong in sector six. Warm and welcoming colors begin to bloom as flowers grow and take their shape, trees regain their former livelihood with vibrant vengeance, and the air itself tastes crisp with the arrival of new life, and new beginnings. 

   A change does appear to have overtaken the sector already known for its greenery, the startling metamorphasis a spectacle to behold as birdsong heralds the passing of the torch from one season on into the next. So in celebration of this day the sector appears littered with signs bearing arrows that point and simply say “follow.”  

   What you find, should you abide by these instructions, is a festival. A grove of giant mushrooms towering as tall as trees comprises the walls that perimeter the faire. A sign made of the brightest pinks and blues spells: “Welcome to all who choose to enter”. Inside rings a chorus of laughter, chatter, and music, and the smell of food and flowers fills your senses. At your feet the grass is long, but not so long as to be annoying. It ripples like gentle ocean waves, and is soft enough to walk on without shoes. But what your eyes can’t escape is the soft sea of floral colors and shapes; flowers decorate the ground, spanning across rooftops and climbing along the mushrooms that hold the festivities within.

I’ve been kind of inactive lately; I’m working on some personal writing as well as some important reports for school and have been kind of focusing on getting those done. I’m already mostly done so I should be active by Saturday if not tomorrow!
