please say more about wills hyper mobile knees and how it affects his hockey or just generally!!! there was this one walk in video where he walked like he distributing his weight from one foot to another and people even speculated he had an injury but i bet it’s bc of his knees. i wonder whether he consciously trains himself to slightly bend his knees isnt that essentially the PT treatment for hypermobility ?? since it would take stress off the joint. anyways im curious to know if u have any insight on how the skating/hockey of it all is affected
yeess i absolutely will! i actually already have a fat post in my drafts about it but i wasn't sure if anyone would care lol. imo it affects his hockey a lot more than one would think coming from someone who also has hyperextended knees and did an intense sport for years. it's ROUGH and yes takes a lot mental training to consciously not stress the joint. not to mention it puts you at higher risk of injury because hypermobility=weaker joints so i fear it's possible his shoulders are up for discussion too. anyways perhaps i will post my more articulate thoughts about it sometime later!
