Prompt: plastic flowers
Store bought or found on the floor
Of a shitshow or a school dance
Spot the difference
Bouquets at Vegas weddings
Caught by bridesmaids forever
Caught in the infinitum of
Always the bridesmaid but never the
Brides are like flowers
Picking and plucking until they find love
Loves me loves me not loves me
Lots of thoughts, second and otherwise
Like knickknacks in the racks of my
Brain-dead, but still picking flowers
Found on the ground
Wound in the crown of the
Queen of teenage infinity
HEY ALL: my beautiful girlfriend made a zine about my cat (who loves to eat paper) and our big gay love (which has been blessed by the aforementioned paper-eating cat.) She’s a student working and going to school full time so if any of you want to support her by checking out her store and ordering a zine, you should! This zine is available for the low low price of five bucks!
Find it here:
https://www.lowdowndirtyrotten.com/listing/643383436/this-cat-will-eat-your-documents-and
And, since tumblr has prevented all posts with links from showing up in searches, if you like the idea of this zine and want to boost, that helps so much!
Maybe I’m really gay but the thought of going to a pumpkin patch with a cute girl and picking out a pumpkin to carve together sounds like a 15/10 recommendation. Idk tho.

I LIKE LONG WALKS ON BEACHES,
For LGBT+ poets to write about their lives, love, and happiness.
Calling LGBT+ poets! I am seeking 15-20 poets to write for Euphoria+, an upcoming zine. The theme is LGBT life, love, and happiness. Any LGBT+ poet can apply!
The zine will be funded through pre-orders or crowdfunding. I’m hoping to gather enough interest that we can sell ~100 copies. I’d like to create some merch to go with the zine, but that depends on how successful the applications process is, and how participants feel about making merch. Participants would split the profits of the zine and related items.
Overall this project is still just a baby bud! I’d like to release the zine by the end of 2018, but that all depends on this getting some attention and me getting a lot of applicants.
SO, if you’d like to buy or participate in a zine of LGBT love and happiness by LGBT+ people, please reblog, share, send to your gay friends, and apply! I have also set up a Tumblr and Twitter account for this project! @euphoriaplus on both! Follow and interact!
All LGBT+ people welcome!*
(*No Terfs MAPS or nazis, obviously.)
Applications close 8/31, selection process begins 9/1.

IV. The forth time we got lost in the mountains we pulled the world apart at the seams / You stomped your feet and I dug my heels in until we ground the whole damn thing to dust / Honey stick your finger in / Lick it clean / Steal a car to die in / When people turn up Gone in the mountains it’s no one’s fault / Not Girls not Gods not Landslides / The worst thing that could happen is blacklung and that’s my favorite poem so you could at least try to make this fucking romantic for me/ I sat with my knees on your chest and begged you to start from the beginning when this was still home.
V. The fifth time we got lost in the mountains the sun forgot to rise / Or maybe she didn’t she just knew better by then / Sometimes it’s so dark there’s only one thing to blame named heartbeat / so I did and I do and I will / You should have called me beautiful that night / it would have been so easy with your mouth full of white water / and my crooked crown of mouse bones in the moonlight / I didn’t scream and I didn’t cry / you just got bored with no heat to starve by.
VI. The sixth time we got lost in the mountains the ribs of the world just sighed / I stared at your feet and told you there’s no place I’d rather be / than the guts of Appalachia and perfume for gasoline / Maybe someday I should offer to drive / I’ve only been learning my whole life / You write in the dirt “something’s gotta give” and I remember your sad eyes the first time / Happy saints day / I love you / this just isn’t what forever was supposed to mean.
-The beginning of this poem was lost in the fire.
