my favorite thing about naming my intern "Indiana" ("Indy" for short) is the fact that dogtern can also be named Indy. So while shes initially laughing it up and talking about how she doesnt hate it, the minute she finds out that the dog literally has the same name as her shes immediately on the same page of "this movie cannot exist."

(She doesnt mind being portrayed as a dog, and finds comically evil Jean funny, its just literally the name thing)

there is something Humorous to me about the idea of just creating a universal Guy OC who's in everything but is literally Just There.

MHA - no quirk, just works in a bookstore

DC - no power. bookstore.

Marvel - Bookstore.

Fantasy High - human who works at a bookstore

They will be one Universal Constant but they are literally just a Guy (who could, in theory, be interesting)

Making the audience fall in love with a character and then killing him hurts their feelings. That's pretty good, but I think I can do worse. I could make them fall in love and then reveal at the end they were dead all along, and that their story was told by their grieving elderly husband. But nah, I already did that.

I can do worse.

What if I made a Listener character go from meek to confident, but along the way they make some bad decisions? Yeah. But I'll depict those negative actions in such an exciting way that they feel exciting and empowering and wish-fullfilling. I'll create all the high of doing wrong and create such a smokescreen of dopamine that they never question it. Then once they form a strong sense of identification with the character I can make their life fall apart and have everyone leave them. Ha ha! Then I won't end the story. Everything I built up until then was the prologue to the real story and they'll have to deal with the fallout while rebuilding their lives. Hahahhaahha AHAHAH! AND! Glimpses of the life they could have had would haunt them!! Imagine!!! Imagine "No Children" by the Moutain Goats at a low point! OHHHHH OOOOOOOOHHHHH!

also I dressed them up for him to ask her out 😭 theyre too cute
