Last month I completed these decoupage shoes for an assignment and asked Sarah Wendell if she would be interested in featuring them on her website. She was and dubbed them The Most Awesome Shoes in the Universe and pretty soon images of them were off running through the internet because as it turns out, other people were pretty keen on them too.

I’m incredibly proud of them because they are a reflection of my reading choices, as well as a subversive twist on femininity and sexuality. And they have a pink glitter trim.
