It's been a while since I posted yet again. I'll back for a while and hopefully a long time. Life gets in the way.

Title: Lost In The Blue
Author: amvkween
Summary (I shortened it because the actual summary is very long): Naruto is bored, Sakura is busy being a Medical-Nin, and Sasuke is confined to his own apartment. When interdimensional activity is discovered far away, Kakashi gets the Konoha 11 and Sasuke to check it out on a team adventure.
Relationsip(s): Naruto/Sasuke,
Tags: post-war, slow burn, idiots in love, angst, Sasuke POV, 3rd person POV, canon divergence, action/adventure
Warnings: PTSD, mental health issues, possible further warnings not mentioned
Personal Notes: Haven't read it yet but certainly an interesting concept. I live bonding between Sasuke and other Shinobi.

Title: You Offered Up Your Soul
Author: RecklessWriter
Summary: Sasuke and Itachi end up talking about Sasuke's past with Orochimaru, where Itachi discovers Sasuke was abused by him. Angst ensues.
Tags: no pairings, complete, 9k words, 3rd person POV, non au, hurt but with comfort
Warnings: Sexual abuse that, even though it's been a while since I read it, I remember it being more graphic than expected (especially with it only being rated T) so be cautious. There was also angst, self blame, and arguments. These are the only warnings I remember so my apologies if I didn't add something.
Sorry for not posting for what seems like an eternity.
Depression legitly got me like..
Oof.
More tattooed Sasuke.

Title: Rather be a lover than a Fighter
Author: Jora_hamiltrash7777
Summary: Itachi had mentally tortured Sasuke when his otouto was merely 7. Now, after the failed Kyuubi retrieval mission, Itachi can't get Sasuke's screams out of his head. Was he really doing Sasuke a favor or was he just sending his formerly sunny brother into a dark path that Sasuke couldn't really handle.
Tags: 17k words, incomplete, no pairings, 3rd person POV
Warnings: angst, some abuse, and possibly other warnings that weren't tagged (they didn't tag any of the issues that I came across in the story so be careful if you get triggered easily)
Personal Notes: Even though it says Sasuke-centric, it doesn't have Sasuke's POV until chapter 11. Also, if you can't tell from the summary, they're still just kids in this ff.
This is either an edit or a fanart and I love it so much. Sasuke looks hella cool rockin those tattoos.

Illusion by JiangLotusZa: "The choice is yours. If you want him to live a better life, take him as your mate," Kakashi paused, taking a moment to collect himself. "I suggest you think this through. You have a person's fate depending on you."
Alpha/beta/omega, Narusasu, Angst FanFiction, Incomplete, 18,000 words, Sasuke centric as always
Possible Triggers: rape, abuse, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, may have others so be careful
Personal notes: Not all the triggers are tagged in the tags so tread carefully. Haven't finished reading yet but I like that it has a fatherly Kakashi in it. Also, angsty because you know I'm a sucker for Sasuke angst.
Love this meme. Found it on reddit but I'm pretty sure it wasn't originally posted there.
Sasuke Angst FanFiction
Summary: Dying is easy. Sasuke knows this better than anyone else. By: Xarybde
4,660 words and 3 chapters. Tagged as major character death and graphic depictions of violence.

I love the purple aesthetic
Sasuke and Kakashi ff recs that aren't Kakasasu but rather more fatherly
Today, someone on Reddit asked for some Kakashi & Sasuke centered FanFiction that isn't Kakasasu. I thought some of you would be interested in the ff I suggested. Here was (most of) my answer:
Before we start, here's a link to the tag "Sasuke & Kakashi" on ao3. This tag has saved me. Unfortunately, there aren't that many FanFiction. Most of the ff I'm reccing us from this tag: https://archiveofourown.org/tags/Hatake%20Kakashi%20*a*%20Uchiha%20Sasuke/worksOkay.
Here we go:
- All The Magic I Have Known:
https://archiveofourown.org/works/27194872/chapters/66425146
Lots of trigger warnings for eating disorders, self-harm, depression, etc. Kind of a teen angst story. Canon compliant and 10k words (incomplete) Not 100% sure if Kakashi takes as big a role in it as you want because I haven't read much of it at all but I think it's worth checking out.
- Frayed Truths:
https://archiveofourown.org/works/18100580/chapters/42787676
This takes place when Itachi and Kisame come to the village to kidnap Naruto. It's the damaging aftermath of when Itachi mentally tortures Sasuke, forcing him to re-remember the memories of the massacre.
Kakashi doesn't really come in until a few chapters in but that's just because they need to set up the whole situation. 118k words, completed, and if I remember right, it's more or less in Kakashi's POV.
Don't worry; I'm adding more. I just wanted to publish this so I don't accidentally lose everything I wrote by accidentally exiting out of the app.
- Oh Father, Do We Get What We Deserve?
https://archiveofourown.org/works/25856248
Team Hebi reaches Sasuke before the Akatsuki does after his fight with Itachi and Sasuke is accordingly taken back to the Leaf Village. Also has one of my favorite Team Hebi/Leaf Village interactions of all ff. I thought it was portrayed well.
Only 15k words, they're honestly probably not gonna update at this point, and it's yet another Sasuke comes back to the village fic except Sasuke doesn't come back willingly.
- With Our Hollowed Chests
https://archiveofourown.org/works/25817749
Sasuke comes back to the Leaf Village and presumably ends up strengthening his relationship with Kakashi. Haven't read so hopefully the tags are right about the Sasuke & Kakashi tag being in the front. (And therefore implying it's important.)
The main issue I have? It's 58k words in one chapter so hopefully you don't lose your spot in it. I think it's worth giving a try even if it's just out of respect for the author who's only gotten 457 hits on it. There's supposed to be a part 2 coming so it's technically incomplete but I'm not sure if I believe it's coming anytime soon.
- Counting Crows
https://archiveofourown.org/works/24482227
Danzo plays a more important role in Sasuke's life.
Tagged with Protective Kakashi so they must get pretty close in this ff. 16k words but it's complete.
- Celestial Bodies part 1
https://archiveofourown.org/works/24086119
Time travel ff wirtten very, very well and pretty dark
Tagged with "Kakashi is a good teacher" so he's probably a good teacher in this. (Lol) 59k words, complete with a sequel (not sure if the sequel is complete), seems to focus on Kakashi and Sasuke's relationship. The summary makes it sound like it's in first person POV but it's actually 3rd person POV from what I've read of it. Looks genuinely good. Worth a try.
- Crossfire
https://archiveofourown.org/works/16746811
Instead of making it to Orochimaru's hideout, Sasuke ends up being raised by "Tobi." Then, he pairs up with his former teammates to keep Naruto out of arm's reach if the Akatsuki all the while keeping him from disturbing the war Tobi and Sasuke have created.
64k words, very unfortunately incomplete, and looks angsty.
- Underneath Your Family Tree
https://archiveofourown.org/works/22125097
Kakashi tries to prevent Sasuke from leaving the village but with help this time. Kakashi/Iruka
Only 10k words but it looked too good to leave out and supposedly complete.
- Good Things Come Out Of Tragedies
https://archiveofourown.org/works/16238363
Basically, Kakashi raises Sasuke.
The only thing is he was once married to Mikoto.
44k words, unfortunately incomplete, and sounds really sweet.
The significance of this photo to me, as a fanfiction based profile, is the amount of stories you can tell from this one photo.
Had this on my favorites on ff.net and I rarely put stuff in my favorites so it must be good. It has over 50k words, is Kakasasu, is canon compliant and I guess it has a little Itasasu. I assume it's dark because I only read Itasasu if it's dark. But, at the same time, it doesn't seem to be Itasasu-focused so I'm not entirely sure.
So, for now I'm going to talk about what I thought when I found out Sasuke turned into a "villain." I'm talking about this because this was the time when a lot of people began to hate on Sasuke and it was also when the truth of Itachi came out. I'll explain why I was never one of those people who hated him for it.
When Sasuke turned villain, I thought that for 1) hot villain characters are the best (I was 12 at the time), for 2) Sasuke turning into a villain was heartbreaking, (his terrible life had pushed him to this), for 3) this was insanely interesting (I couldn't wait to see how the other characters would react to Sasuke's change; all of the possibilities...), and for 4) it made sense to his character.
Number 4 is the most important on this list, though, because so many people said his turning bad made no sense even though his turning "evil" (evil has everything to do with point of view; what one person thinks is evil would be good to another) was a clear descent; not something that happened right away like how some people claimed. It was never sudden.
Even when he was a kid, his mind was already clouded with the darkness of his past. He already had darkness in his life. Either people were too optimistic to see it, they didn't understand his character, or they were in denial of it being there. He was on a path in his life in which he had two choices: to stay on Konoha's side or to let the darkness guide him. He decided to take the latter. He chose darkness so of course he would end up not a goodie two shoes and rather leaning to being more criminal-like when he grew up.
So, I never hated Sasuke for turning into a villain or for anything he ever did to Naruto. It all made sense to me. There was an explanation for every single bad thing he did. He was never evil just to be evil. Instead, he turned to the other side because his world was broken and his point of view of the world was too. The world was wrong to him and everything "evil" he did was to make it right.
Now, the question is: did Sasuke ever truly turn evil when his intentions were never purely evil? (Everything evil he did, he did because he thought it was for the good.)
