Hebrew Word of the Day

Today we are going to be looking at the word ‘tree,’ and what it means in Hebrew. In English, we know that a tree is simply seen as a large wooded plant. In Hebrew, the word is Ets (עֵץ), and it is even more simplified in its modern definition as: wood. This word caught my eye as I was reading in Psalm 1.
