MOULIN ROUGE! (2001) — Dir. Baz Luhrmann
KIKI'S DELIVERY SERVICE (1989)
Another thing that haunts me about this entire thing is that Amanda wasn’t just funny like her coworkers, or funny like other Disney and Nickelodeon actresses. Amanda Bynes was funny like Carol Burnett. Funny like Lucille Ball. She was effervescent and classic. Her comedic sensibilities were deeply intelligent. She had *it*. And she should have grown into one of the best actresses of our generation. But *something* happened and derailed it all. Even if she’s not the same, I truly hope she’s well and happy. I want nothing but the best for her, even if it’s a quiet and private life. I adored her back then and always will.
Easy A (2010) dir. Will Gluck
shes the man truly deserved an oscar
I’m not saying that disliking Supergirl (2026) means being misogynistic. I’m just saying that of fucking course the film about a woman who loses her shit, becomes a hero because her dog is dying, and ends up saving dozens of women and girls who were bought to be (child) brides is heavily criticized.
the silent scream made the whole thing, like, grief so overwhelming she’s going to burst, about being so full of sadness and rage all while knowing that to release that grief is to hurt those around her, because her scream, one that anguished, would level buildings, so she flies to space, screams into a void that sucks out everything inside of her, and is enveloped by the cold emptiness, because to feel her grief is to do harm, so instead she holds it inside and slowly cracks underneath it all, has the breath stolen from her lungs, ribs cracking under pressure, endless silence, nothing she can do does anything
i saw supergirl. i think female actresses should be allowed to throw male movie reviewers from rooftops. i think the movie was about as good as the first two tom holland spiderman movies if not better.
Saw supergirl and I just wanna say, if gunn decided to put out a movie that's just Clark and Kara coming to terms with and reforging their relationship with each other I would probably see it forty six times in theaters
adam driver loved ben solo so much that he teamed up with steven soderbergh to write a ben solo movie set after tros to the bring him back and complete the character's arc but it was turned down by disney and now that it's long dead he's telling us about it
I LOVE when a Star Wars villain with long hair, dirty looking and pretty face, appears on my screen.
oh i miss them so much, bring them back
"You only like this character because she's a woman!" okay and you hate her because she's a woman, knowing that she has all the traits you would enjoy in a male character.
Lassie and Jules squabbling over their detective exam scores then Shawn just dropping on them he scored 100 at 15 yrs old... peak entertainment
