Hiatus Notice
Hey everyone. I'm going on a hiatus for a while and will not be filling requests.
What this means
No new oneshots, series, or prompts will be posted.
The exception: My ongoing work Love is a Losing Game is not abandoned. Leaving readers hanging mid-story feels shitty to me, so updates for that will keep coming until it's finished.
As for the why, I've just been finding it increasingly depressing to put myself out there recently. I'm an oldhead from the LJ and FFN days. Every time I've returned to create in a fandom I've found the joy of posting being in talking to people, sharing ideas, like community and all that.
When I started posting I had hoped to make friends and be able to enjoy my fav IP with others. But between the general shift in how people interact online and the endless influx of hatebot/scam comments outpacing human comments, posting new work has started feeling isolating and draining rather than rewarding.
I still love writing and I'm happy just doing it for myself, but the motivation to share new fics publicly isn't there right now.
To my regular commenters, thank every single one of you. You know who you are. You guys are the only reason I’m still putting myself out there to finish the longfic. You guys taking the time to talk to me genuinely means the world to me, and this isn't a reflection on you at all. I appreciate every single one of you deeply.
Requests can still be sent in, I'll still take them and fill them once I'm back to posting. Just don't expect a quick turnaround.
