i really love seeing proud pantalone, he always carries himself with dignity despite his many indispositions. but to demand help with / something like this / is something he cannot bear. he knows the doctor is available at his every call, he checks on pantalone all the time after all. but he can’t just utter “i need to relieve myself, can you please…?” he’d rather eat grass but that doesn’t change the fact his bladder is about to burst more and more with every hour. dottore checks on him but only gets hissed at. he knows pushing pantalone will only cause more resistance, so he’s watchful but not pushy. and he can’t help his predatory instincts overcoming him, probably watching pantalone’s desperation from reasonable but not so far away distance.
