Every demographic of marginalised men on the planet expects the women they share a marginalisation with to simply shut up and tolerate the abuse they face from said men in the name of "not dividing the community". And yet every single time this comes up you get people batting as hard as they can for the supposedly liberatory right of men to tell women to shut up and telling you that you're only talking about it because they're [marginalisation you also experience]
People across all classes and ethnicities seem to lack a genuine sense of curiosity or interest in women's lived experiences. Few people want to know what it feels like to be a professional woman in any field. Even in fiction, there are very few opportunities for women to be whoever they want to be.
For example, hardly anyone wants to read about the daily life of a single mother raising a quirky child, while we can find plenty of manga and comics about single fathers, both gay and straight.

Been using the tiny phone (Unihertz Jelly 2E) for a week now and honestly it’s my best decision of the year. I’ve been trying to reduce my phone usage for a few years now and I always ended up going back on it for dopamine boosts. I think I just had to just throw the cursed amulet away.

I cannot overstate how much this is changing my life. I have regained a decent attention span, I am spending more time doing my hobbies and I feel more present when talking to people. Been reading so much too. My mind is not polluted by random bs. It was really that damn phone, boomers were right all along
Just try your best, get off your phone as much as you can, honor your hurt feelings and also the hurt feelings of others, favor sincerity over nonchalance whenever it’s appropriate to, reach out to people you miss, let go of people when it’s time, operate from a deeply rooted self respect rather than from a lens of what people think, try your best to read the room, sit in the sun on overcast days (with sunscreen on), drink lots of water, pursue everything you want aggressively, accept that your timeline will be different, welcome detours if circumstances call for them, hold both yourself and others accountable, try to move your body as much as you can and you will be okay diva
My one boring tip to anyone in their 20s is to resist the temptation to rot in your room every time you get a free moment. Dismiss any neuroses you have about going outside and "being perceived". Be a dictator about it, plan your hangouts like they are binding commitments. No excuses! Go to the bar with your friends. Be kinda hungover at work. Socializing is like exercise; even if you don't feel like you want to, you should still do it because it's good for you.
