This blog only exists because of my (Luci, he/its) determination, so feel free to thank me lol. It's for us to explore our plurality and engage with the community, as well as post some of (mostly my) plural memes.

This is our pinned intro. The only ones comfortable sharing right now is me and Chaos (it/its) but perhaps that will change with time.

We don't have a DNI, feel free to interact as you like (if anyone wants to send us any posts on plurality so we can read through them and share, we'd love that).

A problem with fronting is that a lot of the time Chaos kinda floats in and out, asking questions and sometimes getting control from me even if it doesn't mean to and its very annoying.

Like! Its not like I get much time fronting, bitch sometimes you need to shut up!

Especially when, for example, today, it really wanted me to front so I did but it kept asking questions in the background, which of course, drew him to the front, and its like.

After awhile, you do have to realize you need to shut up. My control is kinda shaky! You've gotta shut up if you want me to be able to keep it! Jesus fucking christ.

please do not let online system spaces convince you that you need to label and have every single thing in your system figured out. that’s an extremely unrealistic goal and you’re not any sort of faker for not knowing every single thing.

some alters hold trauma/memories that they didn’t exist to experience / didn’t front during.

some alters have amnesia for moments they were there for.

like that’s really common. you have a dissociative disorder. you aren’t faking if you remember something you didn’t front for and you aren’t faking if you forgot something that you yourself literally did. our brains are trying to protect us. sometimes it does a good job with the amnesia thing and often times it doesn’t. there’s no real way to make amnesia convenient. like a lot of systems only get amnesia from switches, but a lot of us forget the day prior even if no switch occurred.

and although this post is about amnesiac systems, you’re valid if you don’t have amnesia either, or not very much. everyone is different. every system is different.

I adore you, systems, but..

Your alter/part/whatever you call them is not black if the body isn't. They're just darker skinned. And yes, me and so many others will get uncomfortable when you say they are.

Same with intersex. They can totally present as intersex in headspace, but don't say intersex only slurs or claim it for the whole body unless you are intersex bodily.

Honestly, as a bodily black system, we heavily agree.

We haven't really encountered any fellow systems with alters that label themselves as black or try to reclaim anything that's black-only, but the thought of it does make us uncomfortable. Most of us have no race in headspace, but we all still experience what it's like to be black in life. We all have the authority to decide whether to call ourselves black or not on an individual level, since we're still bodily black, but non-black systems do not have that authority and neither do any of their alters. Alters can look black in headspace, but if the body is not black, then they cannot claim the label or experience.

We love our system community, but... we do just hope that bodily non-black systems can understand. (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

Something I've found that sucks a little about being plural and physically disabled is that sometimes, someone else will choose to do something that they know will aggravate my (our) symptoms but they also know they won't have to deal with the worst of it so they do it without hesitation.

If you're wondering what type of scenario I'm referring to, Luci really likes dancing and we have severe chronic pain and shit mobility. ButLuci decided to dance when they were here the other night and now, he's gone and I've been dealing with the worst of the backlash since then. 💀

I think maybe we should have some boundaries because I totally understand Luci rarely gets to do shit he wants to but maybe we only do things that will severely fuck us over occasionally and warn each other first. Because we both live in this shithole. 😭

if you need someone to tell you this let us be that person: yes you can still be a system if your parts are just different versions of you. yes you can be a system if you have trouble communicating or cant communicate at all with your parts. yes you can still be a system if your parts dont have names of faces, but are just feelings and states of being. yes you can still be a system with no set host, or frequent fronter(s). yes you can still be a system without being able to tell who’s fronting at all times or if youve switched. plurality looks different for everyone, dont just assume that because your plurality doesn’t look like someone else’s that what your experiencing isn’t plurality.

I hate delayed amnesia so much. I’ll go through a whole day thinking I’m “fine” and fully present, and then hours later it hits me like—wait… I don’t remember anything from today. It feels like my whole day just slips through my fingers.

I’d like to think I’m staying relatively co-conscious with our other alters/fragments, but then once they leave, I lose nearly—if not all—of the memory afterward. It’s so disorienting.

Met a new alter the other day. Not sure what to think about it. She was only there for a little bit and she was pissed AF, didn't seem to like me and insinuated she was like, actively avoiding me.

I think her name was Vic? But I'm not entirely sure. It was such a surreal experience. I honestly thought I'd only ever met Luci before and kinda assumed Luci was the only one of us besides me who was actually...a person? I definitely wasn't expecting to talk to anyone else.

But I guess the world is full of surprises. 🙃 I'm not sure if it was a good one, though.

growing more affectionate slowly toward the term "voices in my head". It felt dehumanizing at first, and there's still a twinge of that, but especially after the Long Quiet joined us, it feels more ironic and self confident. like yeah the voices in my head. They judge u and crack jokes to me and then return to their expansive lives inside our brain. The voices in my head are my family and i love em. And I'm also a voice in my head! What're you gonna do about it? Turning the term around to be cocky and prideful is so funny, I hope we get to do it to a singlet that doesn't ccomprehend our plurality one day thatd be a hoot. sorry u dont have any other voices in ur head to bounce off rip

Was talking with someone who's kinda been an on/off abuser to me the other day and weirdly, it wasn't a bad conversation but at some point, I started losing entire trains of thought and fading in and out and it was very frustrating.

I wasn't completely me but it also felt like someone else was just straight up yanking thoughts out of my brain and I couldn't get them back if I paid for them.

I already struggle with losing words sometimes but this was a very separate thing and I can't say I like it.

I don't even fully understand what it was! Was I just dissociating? Or was someone else fading in and out weirdly? Who knows?? 😭
