She’s super cool, and you’re… someone who deserves someone super cool.
Darren Barnet as Paxton Hall Yoshida
NEVER HAVE I EVER (2020-) created by Mindy Kaling
okay ben this, paxton that, whatever whatever, but the most important relationship of this show?? devi and her mom. they had so much growth this season and the look on nalini’s face when devi called her the best mom ever was honestly one of my favorite moments of the show. devi immediately apologized when she felt like she stepped out of line with her mom and dr. jackson and nalini stepped up and apologized when she knew she hurt devi. they still had their highs and lows this season (as mothers and daughters do) but their relationship is improving for the better it’s just really heartwarming to see the change happen.
DARREN BARNET as Paxton Hall-Yoshida Never Have I Ever, 2x03 “…opened a textbook”
After finishing season 2, I still prefer Ben for Devi. I really like Paxton but I don't think he's compatible enough with her for the relationship to last, she still idealizes him and they don't have much in common.
paxton: anyways so our date will include playing video games with my friends while one of them literally throws up
ben: DEVI IS HAVING A GOING AWAY PARTY??? well as her BOYFRIEND, i should help plan this oh my god. *proceeds to hire david chang to make appetizers*
i rest my case
Aaa yes. My new favorite niche trope:
Queer Blonde second born royal falls for queer bi-racial, Spanish-speaking, curly brunette boy who doesn’t treat him differently cause of his title.
Edvin Ryding as WILHELM and Omar Rudberg as SIMON in YOUNG ROYALS (2021—), Episode 2
young royals said 'remember every emotion you had when you were watching skam? yeah, well, they're back now.'
the actor playing simon said in an interview that he likes skam and talked about how when skam came out everybody there talked in norwegian and geeked about one of the skam actors following him. also said that because of these it is nice to be compared to skam
everyone out here saying young royals is like skam but at least simon and wilhelm know how to communicate
the father
the son
and the holy spirit
I had to watch skam clip by clip on Google drive never knowing when they’d drop, and now I’m watching young royals on Netflix, HD and with subtitles, I’m not used to this luxury
