What does it take to teach a bee to use tools? A little time, a good teacher and an enticing incentive. Read more here: http://to.pbs.org/2mpRUAz

“Friend? Friend push ball? I push ball. I do good.”
Bees. Smart enough to push a ball, not smart enough to not be fooled by a stick masquerading as a bee.
maybe they know and they’re just being polite
Other dimensional beings are undoubtedly amazed at what human beings will accept as human beings too. “But it’s just a stick with a person on it.”
#excuse me neil but what the FUCK was that #thanks for that terrifying thought (nooby-banana)
You, too, can be a Disney princess. Just sweat, like, a lot. (Red Admiral, Vanessa atalanta).
Pretty Beetle by Andreas Kay Via Flickr: from Ecuador: www.youtube.com/AndreasKay
A lil spidey caught my eye last week because it looked like a bee! Their abdomen had light yellow stripes! And so Spideybee was born!
Not like a mix of a bee and a spidey but more like a spidey dressed as a bee and just using its jumping abilities to get around.
Expect more spideybee posts in the following days…
I’ve finally been making use of IG stories! Check out my IG stories for progress of illustrations!
Sounds like a wasp spider
Did someone say -
A WASP SPIDEY?!
This is cute af but if spiders could fly I would probably have ended my life many years ago lol
They can fly. They use a technique called ballooning where they let out a long strand of web and let the air carry them where it may.
That’s true- I didn’t think of that. I learned it from Charlotte’s Web lol. Thankfully spiders traveling this way have never gotten in my way lol
@arcticarthropod is right! I can´t fly. But I can crawl and jump! I can balloon as well!
I actually ballooned all the way over here to bring you, @pernoctatio-ii, this:
A friendship flower
Look! I´m not flying!
I can just jump! Over here! I´m jumping right now!
Hey!
Let´s be friends!
Abendpfauenauge (Smerinthus ocellata), A moth that can be found on river banks and wet forests.
The blue cloud forest millipede is a species of millipede that lives in the high altitude cloud forests in Mexico. They have no eyes and use their antennae to navigate their environment. Their bright blue color serves as a warning to predators against their toxic secretions. (x x x x)
think these two photos got deleted from here?? so enjoy these black n blue babies!!🖤💙
Bitta sp. but all the world does not seem to be sure. Please do not look too closely ... it has become a very special scribble this time.
Macro Bugs by Егор Камелев
Micrommata virescens, This lady loves the sunlight and is well camouflaged in the tall grass because of her green color. Very hard to find.
lost in the sauce
Male jumping spider, adult. And again I need the help of the almighty Oracle Internet. This jumping spider is supposed to live in the tropics. But surely the sources are not. I could not find anything else about this jumping spider species. But maybe someone else can designate this spider? Let me know.
Lycaena phlaeas, male
Argema mimosae, Caterpillar
Newly discovered species of peacock spider “Blueface maratus” (undescribed species) is a fantastic creature. Does anyone know anything more about this species? let me know.
I don’t know how old this post is, but they’re not newly discovered and undescribed anymore
Maratus Personatus
if you want to learn more : (x) (x)
Thank you so much! This is so much more than I expected. I myself could hardly find anything about this jumping spider species, so I am all the happier with the Reblog !!! Helped a lot, thanks for letting me know.
