Thistle is a perfectionist, having exceptionally high standards and expectations for themselves and others. They are obsessed with order, arranging everything in its place according its color, size and type; a system they spent years on perfecting. If anyone moves Thistle's things from their proper places, Thistle will certainly get angry about it. Thistle won't outright fight someone they consider to be weak or foolish, instead electing to throw objects from their surroundings at their guests. Thistle is very distrustful, and it would require material proof to convince them about anything, especially about the subject of ownership of the building they currently reside in. As far as Thistle is concerned, the building is theirs, having long since been fed up with of all the mons coming up to them and claiming otherwise.
Thistle has been living in the old Umbreon head-shaped house for quite some time now, the building formerly being the Gatherers guild's base. The Gatherers dealt with gathering materials that were urgently needed within close proximity of Aster Village, doing so as to having not to wait for the Cartographers to return from their expeditions. This mostly consisted of bringing back lumber for shelter, fires, etc., as well as herbs for medicines for injuries and relaxants and food if the village was ever close to running low on its food supply. Thistle admired the old Gatherers leader, feeling exceptionally deceived and betrayed when they left the guild long ago. With that, Thistle decided to keep the guild alive, not allowing the disaster of disbandment to happen again under their watch. Now the self proclaimed leader and last member of the Gatherers guild, Thistle has grown to despise the Cartographers since their growth led to the Gatherers disbanding themselves and merging with the competing guild. Thistle now concerns themselves with trying to recruit new members, but is much too picky with their requirements, trying to look for the perfect mon for their guild. Any mon who is not as much as a perfectionist as Thistle has no chance to be chosen, worse if they're laid back.
Considering themselves as an experienced Gatherer, Thistle often wants to be the head of any group requiring their help. However, since they haven't been out of their building for quite some time, fearing that someone might take their shelter, they suffer from memory problems. As such, Thistle may convince a group of mons to follow them, claiming to know the best spot to find rare materials, and instead might accidentally get everybody following them lost.
