SUBNAUTICA BELOW ZERO SPOILERS!

Finished Subnautica: Below Zero, had to draw some fanart because I think this lad is cool.

Tidbits:

I draw with keyboard and mouse.

Estimated time spent on the art is around 36 hours.

I don't know how to draw backgrounds at all.

The original size of this artwork was 7200 x 10800, but as it was too big I downsized it 50%.

This was the first artwork I've done in this style, as I usually experiment with styles. Also the largest artwork I've done in my life.

Shading is off because I don't know how to shade.

But the Reaper Leviathan doesn't know it, and so it flies anyway.

After a certain point in Subnautica you look at hostile monsters less with fear and more of a cat owner “don’t, doooon’t” attitude.

I found a way to disable the HUD in Subnautica (did not know you could hook a keyboard up to a PS4, this has been an education for me) and I’ve just been taking really nice video and screencaps of everything in peaceful mode.

Little unnerving swimming that close to the leviathans, but I said ‘work, bitch’ as I took pictures of them and those bitches did work.

Well. Then the Ghost Leviathan got stuck in a skull.
