Perfect summer day!
Me, the wife, and Felix! I always look that cool. Apparently I could also work at a movie theater with that vest!
Interview About My Music
I recently did an interview with Koral Dasgupta about my music, career, and thoughts on the future of the game (+ game audio) industry!
Interview Here
It is a quick read, but hopefully enjoyable!
Empires Apart Announced!
Recently I had the opportunity to provide some music for this awesome game that is in development! It is designed for fans of RTS games and has a very appealing an unique art style!
The music in the video is just a small taste of the fun score I got to compose for the game. While the soundtrack is not complete, I am looking forward to hopefully working on the rest of the score!
Website Facelift!
I got new pictures and headshots as well as some new music (which will be coming soon!), so I decided to update my website a bit.
TO THE WEBSITE!
I rarely do updates as frequently now because of work and family, so I have switched to a more static website layout.
New website shots by Shane Arnett of Boundary Science!

Above the Clouds - Earth Day 2015
Here is a video for Earth Day 2015 and I composed the music for it! A free download of it will be coming soon. Enjoy the Earth. Enjoy the weather. Enjoy life.
I may even end up doing a behind the scenes video of this!
Demise of Nations: Rome
A game I scored has been released! It is a fantastic and deep strategy game called Demise of Nations: Rome. It was a blast to work on and is the third collaboration I have had with Noble Master.
You can read more about the game here!
Demise of Nations is a 4X turn-based grand strategy wargame during the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. Command your armies in one of the many ancient countries including the Roman Empire, the Greeks, Carthage, Sparta or the Gaul. From Rome to Celtic nations, you create your own warring experience. Wage colossal wars solo, against the AI, or take on your gaming friends in cross-platform multiplayer games. Form alliances and fight co-op style with the AI and other players for ultimate victory.
WAR
The game trailer was created by Lunar Animation with sound design by Adam Block of Craft Media Group, and Music by Sean Beeson!
It isn’t a real game trailer, but a spec trailer created by Lunar to show their capabilities. If it was a game, I would definitely be playing it!
El Quetzal de Jade on Amazon Prime!
A film I scored (produced by Dastoli Digital) has been released for streaming on Amazon Prime! The score has a bit of a noir-ish vibe to it, but really captures the sound of film scores from when I was growing up in the 80s. Check out the trailer below.
Here is a link to Amazon Prime
The murder of a rich man leads a private detective to Guatemala, where a seductive femme fatale pulls him into a tangled web of intrigue surrounding the theft of a rare Mayan artifact.
El Quetzal de Jade is a throwback to the great noir films of the mid twentieth century, while also incorporating modern action set pieces. The bulk of the film takes place in Guatemala, showcasing the country’s busy marketplaces and towns, while also focusing on the beauty of the region’s natural wonders. The plot also takes the characters across North America to the old world majesty within the walled city of Quebec, before concluding under the neon glow of Chinatown in Los Angeles.
CATS IN SPACE - THREE YEARS!
Although it has been three years since I scored this video along with Dan Rogers, it feels just like it was yesterday!
Was a blast to score, and looking forward to doing more of this in the future.
Here is a link to an interview that Forerunner Magazine recently conducted with me!
The music of any experience can have an intangible influence on the individual experiencing it.
Evhacon has been released! I only scored the theme/opening music for it, but it is still an awesome game for mobile platforms, especially if you are into RPGs!
The game is a lot of fun to play and is only 99 cents! Head over to the website to check it out: http://evhacon.retroversogames.com/

"Killing Me Softly" Score
I recently completed the score for Linh Ngo's short film, "Killing Me Softly". Cole Jenkins (colejenkinsmusic.com) and I teamed up to score the short.
It was a fun score to compose, as Linh gave us complete creative freedom. So I crafted a haunting, yet lyrical and mysterious score featuring light strings, eerie voices, and simple oboe melodies carefully crafted around deep electronic tones! Below is a preview.
The film will be hitting the short film circuit in the near future, and hopefully Youtube thereafter.
I will post it when it is up.
I recently sat down with the editor of the gaming news website Toggle Crouch, where he picked my brain about games, music, and my career.
It is a shorter interview, but gives a very good picture of what I do and what my favorite parts of being a game composer are.
