This is a real issue that's affecting women in healthcare because transmascs are sold the idea that there's 0 downsides to changing sex marker on our files. This causes transmascs and detrans women to face sexual assault in medical settings, improper medical care, and even death. Why do you believe "you asked for it" is ok when women identify as trans?
Besides... Doctors not reading the files hurts and kills women who aren't transmasc too. This is not just a little "gotcha" moment. This is something that affects all women. A little solidarity between transmascs, detrans women, and women who were never trans would be a lot better than "this is what you wanted". No, what they wanted was a doctor who would read their damn file.

If male/female socialization doesn't exist, you are arguing one of two things
Men and women don't behave in different ways (observably untrue, if this was the case sexism would not exist)
Men and women behave in different ways due to biology (age-old sexist talking point, doesn't explain how behavior is heavily impacted by time period and culture)
If all trans women are female socialized, I can't understand how this would be the case unless you believe in a special female soul that is so present in a person AMAB that it deflects any and all absorbing of lessons and treatment from being perceived as male by others for an entire childhood. (Even if the individual thought they were male their entire childhood, had no female friends, and displayed clearly male-patterned socialization their whole life until transition)
If trans women become female socialized as soon as they transition, this implies childhood is not a critical development period that sticks with you for your whole life, which is untrue. This also implies most trans women are perceived as women and live the same as cis women as soon as they transition which is untrue.

When I was with transfeminist circles I saw these posts all the time and it was a super effective guilting tactic. I kept several MTFs in my mutual circles way too long after they started going on aggressive screeds against "TME"s (which I wasn't even against at the time due to said transfeminist conditioning), doing kink shit I'd normally block people over on-sight, and making comments like "I don't agree with ISFF but the construction of the pedophile is used to oppress us"... because I was afraid I'd look like a transmisogynist excising them from my social circles. So, with the other transbians on the site, they continued to get worse in ways none of my other mutuals did and my dash became insufferable lol.
I am reminded of the minority tolerance phenomenon. As a trend, people become less bigoted towards a minority group the more they interact with members of said group inter-personally. This isn't to say minorities will have no problems in non-minority friend groups, but that as a trend they become more liked the more familiar a majority gets to them, because it becomes clear they are just normal people with harmless differences like everyone else.
This makes this whole thing a real outlier. Trans women getting in social groups *while* already out as trans women (so there's no "coming out as gay and being kicked out of a friend group" bias happening), becoming friends with the people there, and then being expelled again and again, well... That's not really typical?
If the problem is "trans women are seen as gross and weird and everyone is always looking for a socially acceptable reason to call them gross and weird", why is this superficial barrier of "difference", being perceived as "gross and weird", not diminishing as the MTF befriends the circle, and prolonged interaction makes people see that he's actually pretty normal? Yeah youāre absolutely right. When I was in high school I was a pure hearted baby feminist who just wanted to be open minded and accept everyone. I knew 2 ātrans girlsā during that time and I thought being an ally meant ignoring my own feelings of discomfort because they were āwrong.ā They both did things I wonāt get into here that scared me, made me uncomfortable, and pushed my boundaries. I ended up finding out one of them was a full on rapist and psychopath but thatās another story. What made me feel crazy was people in my friend group knew all along and still chose to defend him and hang out with him. Even after all that I wanted to believe I had just met a bad apple and trans women as a whole were wonderful people who wanted to be accepted just like me. It took a lot of exposure online to just how disgusting they could be to change my mind. I see a lot of teenage girls and young women bending over backwards to defend and include transwomen and hating on TERFs. It doesnāt make me angry. They remind me of me. I just hope that they are safe because it seems like young, passionate, empathetic women are taught to think of themselves last.

i mean i dont doubt they watched porn because its basically ubiquitous among children these days. But also this has always been common. It is an epidemic in Amish communities where they don't have access to porn. women of our grandmothers and great grandmothers generations have spoken about these things in hushed tones. the biggest difference between then and now and the amish and the average joe family is that one had/has no access to the internet to share these stories, and one does. A lot of women cling to the belief that porn is what causes all this male violence, because it means they don't have to reckon with there being a deeper problem with males than just videos on the internet. Rape is a torture method that often targets women and for some reason many people don't view it as such. In many dictatorships (such as the brazilian one), female political prisoners or wives of male political prisoners were raped as "punishment" to the point they begged for another type of torture, but somehow rape isn't seen like the torture it is by the majority of people.

i dont think i need to say this "infographic" is complete shit, a cursory glance over at the words on the left shows how wildly uneven the sample sizes for this. 103 out of 30.4 mil for women, 11,660 out of 29.5 mil for men, and 92 out of 48 THOUSAND for tims. comparing boulders to rocks here, millions for thousands.
Are those "samples" when it's the entire population. There's "only" 48 thousand TIM in the whole of england and wales.
Honestly I do not see the problem, why would you need the sample sizes to be even? Do we need the trans population to be half the population to compare them to cis people ? Because then no stats about trans people will ever be receivable.
I do think the methodology is fucking stupid here, notably it doesn't account for age, I think TIMs are way more likely to be in the peak offending age than the general population (if nothing else, babies do not identify as trans and are also somewhat unlikely to be sex offenders). But correcting for this would still be comparing millions to thousands. It also fundamentally wouldn't change the point much, especially comparing for women, I do not need to look at the exact numbers to know that if there is 103 female offenders for 92 Trans identified males then the trans identified male offending rate is nowhere close to the general female population's.

Before I say anything, this post is for those of you who defend other trans women to your very last, women like kinky-robot-girl, Patricia Taxxon, isuggestforcefem, sailatina (sailor-crusader), all the ageplaying transfems on this site who get nuked multiple times a day, etc.. Despite all this support and rhetoric, which I love to see, I do not think many of you are really willing to fully acknowledge that thought-crimes are not real in the case of people attracted to children. For us all to be free, we can leave no one behind, and that includes pedophiles whether you like it or not. The word 'pedophile' does not imply action of any kind, it is merely a descriptor. People will say 'pedophile' and mean 'child abuser'. This is stupid and wrong, those terms are entirely separate. If you conflate those two terms to mean the same thing, you might as well say that 'trans woman' is synonymous with 'misogynystic rapist', which I don't think I have to explain to you the wrongness of.
I ought to make something clear, I am a trans woman, an ageplayer, a victim of *real* CSA, and I am attracted to adults. With this being told, I want it understood that I, happily, am friends with several pedophiles, and I know for certain they would never hurt an actual child.
