controversial yet brave but mack saying he's glad chern is gelling with us is to me the most insane thing that happened last night. the full circle moment of will spending his entire off season doing winger prep. trying it out in halifax and looking like they'd maybe spend more time during the off season working on it together. sheng on the pod like mack and will love each other and they know the only way to play on a line together is if will's on mack's wing. how they rocked up to training camp so firm about their decision. and even when it got hard, they stuck with it. will and mack during that comeback game against the rangers in the beginning of the season. the ups and downs. will getting injured and mack losing his whole entire shit because they'd decided on doing it together and will has to be there. he has to be there. the way mack made a point to call out the line jumbling, always giving will credit for whatever he'd done, like he was proving something to someone. everyone getting put on that top line, rotated in and out except for will and mack, who were back together every start of every game. and now they found a guy who can keep up and it's good for us. it's what we've been waiting for. it's our plan. I'm sick

and that's not even mentioning all the stuff they said before it. mack saying him and will were trying to not get 'too ahead' of themselves about playing on the same team, before mack had been even properly drafted. when they asked mack as early as govember his first season what would make a good first year for him and he said, getting the chemistry going with will. when they got to play that first shift together and were giddy getting the puck to each other. the constant emphasis on spending their entire future together, how mack had been drafted for all of five minutes before he was like, me and will are going to be playing together for a long time. I fear they've been masterminding this move when will slid into mack's dms in may and they haven't gone back on it for a second. it's serious. it's serious
