Schools of Magic in D&D

So, I’ve been thinking about this recently.

Necromancy isn’t bad- Or at least, it isn’t the most evil school of magic. Necromancy isn’t all about summoning undead and cursing people, necromantic spells include Revivify and Ressurection. The real baddy, when it comes to magic schools, is Enchantment. It is a school of magic designed to take away people’s free will. It is manipulating, tricking and abusing through magic. 

Fantasy cliche has seemingly made every setting see necromancy as an evil school of magic and Enchantment has had it too good! So, if you’ve got a setting and you want to do something different, don’t bully all the necromancers of the world! There’s plenty more targets when it comes to the Arcane
