In my absence, Eman's village's situation has been getting worse, far far worse. As the fabric of Sudan's medical and other social infrastructures have been destroyed by war and genocide, displaced people are seeing a high risk of disease outbreaks amongst them. This is what Eman's village is currently going through, and her family has been one of many affected by dengue fever.

making my own post but it frustrates me so so much how Black people and Jewish people are seen as two mutually exclusive groups to so many people. Whether talking abt Black actors playing Jewish roles or Black/Jewish solidarity it's always framed as two seperate groups as if Black Jewish people do not exist!!

They r both ostracized in Jewish and non Jewish spaces and whenever I see someone arguing if Jewish people r white people its so frustrating bc its blatant erasure of all Jewish people of color and it makes me want to eat drywall

Hey yall I just wanted to come on here and bring some attention to what’s happening at the detention center (really a concentration camp) Delaney Hall in Newark, New Jersey. There is a hunger strike going on right now to protest the abhorrent conditions within the camp (allegations of torture, maggots and other bugs in the food, etc) and protests happening outside the camp. ICE is not allowing any politicians to come in (as is their right) to see the conditions of the camp. their needs are changing rapidly, they mostly need Sudecon wipes and gas masks, last I heard, but the only way is to bring them directly there. for the most part they are asking people to join them there and hold the line, if possible. next best thing is to donate and call NJ reps to demand an end to the detention and torture!
