I’ve always been haunted by this particular passage from @no-gorms ‘The Love Spell’ — the unbearable tenderness of a false memory, the embrace that ‘never happened, and will never happen.’ It‘s such a poignant and beautiful agony that I had to try painting it. This is that moment of illusory peace
The Hiveworks Artist Guild has released a public statement alleging years of labor abuses, financial mismanagement, and misconduct at Hiveworks at the hands of Xellette “Xel” Velamist and Isabelle “Isa” Melançon. Read their full statement HERE

The Koi Fish Swims Upstream - Screenprint, craft paper, polymer clay, eyeshadow.
Through twisting waters and rapids, swimming against the stream, up the highest waterfall the Koi fish leaps, transforms, and takes flight.
Finals are done, photos are edited, there's a bunch of stuff going up. This is the final for my screenprint class. I built the frame out of polymer clay and the gold gilding in eyeshadow. The clay was a lot harder to work with that I anticipated, I need to play around with it more.
Today I got my comp copies of The Transition by Logan-Ashley Kisner, which I did the jacket art for, and that was already exciting in itself.
I read the author's note and I am a mess. After reading all the news in the last week or so, I am simply just a mess.
Thank you, Logan for this book, and thank you Liz for the direction.
Hello, Stranger, screenprint.
My first two layer print! I can't decide which color combos is my favorite, I like them all.
The Iron Man Noir art I did for the @transistorpoweredheart-zine!
Newsprint, Digital.
Like cheap the ink that stains your fingertips from the newspaper headlines and wanted ads, the ghost of truth lingers somewhere between the pages. Some more art for my in-the-works comic project, The Demon You Know. I'm surprised how little changed from the sketch to the finished illustration, but I really liked the vibe and composition!
Diety II, Aluminum 6x6 in.
I got to participate in molten metal casting at UNC over the summer, it was such a fun experience, I've never done anything like it before! I also recently made an IG account if anyone likes to hang over there.
what if I draw nezushi every day??
Fever Dream - Part 8
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4 - Part 5 - Part 6 - Part 7
I like my food real spicy, too. The chili peppers were a last minute addition I'm so glad I included. The summer semester is over, fall is about to begin, and I'm going to try and get a few more pages done before things get busy.
The gold foil prints of my Watership down piece 'But first they must catch you' are here and listed in my shop! I'm so happy with how they look! :D thank you so much for all your support 💗🥺

Exposure, Screenprint on digital screens.
All the things you've put out, and all the things you let in, have they touched you? Changed you? Stunted you or helped you grow? Connected you or isolated you? What ghosts linger inside your screens...
Assignment for my mixed media class. I just started at the University of Northern Colorado, jumping straight into my senior year! It was enlightening having to experiment with new media and unusual surfaces, I really had to let go of control and see how the ink and manipulation techniques would take. A lot of unexpected challenges and fascinating outcomes with this one, I was not expecting the amount of texture and organic lines that came out.
My first screenprints! I'm getting to try out a number of new materials and processes this summer in my mixed-media class.
"It's for your own good."
some thoughts under the cut
I love the hellish todoroki chapters so much, i find endeavor's consistent lack of understanding so fascinating, Rei and Touya tell him that Touya just wants to be seen, yet Endeavor can't be bothered & i think it's crazyyyyyyyyyyy that he trains shoto at their house where Touya is bound to see and compare (as if endeavor himself didn't compare & hierarhcize his children enough) like ofc touya couldn't move on his replacement is right in front of him and he sees his dad do all the things he used to do with him with shoto now like touya has never been special woah y/3
anyway Shoto is wearing the shirt that touya wears in the manga because i think Endeavor is a dense, insensitive asshole who doesn't consider how shoto wearing touya's hand-me-downs could affect touya (it makes the abandonement/replacement even worse Touya feels like a ghost overstaying its welcome in his own home)
I also drew endeavor grabbing shoto's wrist instead of his hand, both to show how this guy simply cannot interact with children appropriately and their lack of emotional connection, sth sth the irony of endeavor spending sm time with his successor but there's still no genuine connection
Dabi is very theatrical and I think endeavor's refusal to acknowledge Touya's pain as genuine plays a huge role in that, sth sth a neglected children will do anything to get noticed like yes enji your son is theatrical esp as an adult but that's on you
the "man up" just feels right for endeavor #hewouldfuckingsaythat and i loveeee to think about how endeavor's abandonement of his eldest son probably affected Touya's ego as a man let's not unpack dabi's gender here
and shoto isn't wearing his flower bracelet because endeavor made him take it off because it would be in the way of their training
but who gives a fuck about bnha i sure don't
"I think we got off on the wrong foot." - Socrates
"Serious Question, but are those actually considered feet, or..." - Casey
I ask the same question every time. Casey and Socrates from The Demon You Know. I could draw these two endlessly, which is good since they're the MCs of my comic, haha. There'll be a lot more of them coming soon!
