Since Weintraub specifies it was a male actor in a group, we can eliminate the Russos, Hiddleston, and Gurira. From there, it’s anyone’s guess.

Like Mackie's highly competitive but what they don't understand is that I'm guessing Marvel kinda forbids them to appreciate them largely. What could he have done?! Other than being competitive and the fans like to see this Marvel vs DC thing too!

Like I’ve always said, I’m just doing my best to try going into the next two films very open-minded and I’m hoping for minimal interaction cause I want to enjoy whatever we get. However, you’re not wrong for being hopeful…. or … suspicious even…

November 10th Stan Lee announces there’s word a Black Widow Movie is in the works at a con he attends; not many people believe him initially:
November 11th-12th Sebastian mentions Black Widow at a con:
November 27th a few days before the trailer is released (the actors got to see it a few days before us), Seb confirms they are the “power couple”:
November 29th the Infinity War trailer is released:
January 10th the Black Widow Movie is announced and Sebastian post about it only minutes after the news breaks:
*also as people pointed out MCU exchange got word of it around November/December and has details of what and who will be featured in the film (look who is on the cover with her)*
February 2nd Sebastian at a con mentions Natasha as part of Bucky’s past
(he obviously can’t give spoilers and his comment is initially shaped from the comic perspective he studied, however, he also seems to kinda semi insinuate something more, that it’s simply stuff that ‘we’ve not seen”..)

So yeah, I guess I’ll answer with this since we obviously can’t confirm anything like that till both films are out, but the timing for a few things is very interesting…. we’ll see :P
