A story in 5 parts
Can't just go places without a hat, not when it's raining.
jesus no
So is terry in b99 like an alternate reality terry crews where he became a cop instead of an actor?
Or is the terry in the show literally just terry crews the actor in a cop job?
Or does this terry have no relation to terryterry?
this is like if cookie clicker was multiplayer
reblog if you are ok with mass booping
There was a new LGBT+ acronym, and it was twig etc. (it had to be in lowercase for some reason). It stood for trans, Welsh, intersex, and gay. Everyone else was etc. It was very controversial.
Someone edit that dragon onto the pride flag
Donkey’s dragon wife from Shrek?
Yeah okay
Someone NEEDS to put her in the welsh flag
yeah that works too actually
Idk if this is just me but how can people say they are making something "completely book accurate" and have the author himself work on it and they're STILL getting things wrong??
I love the cast i love the sets i love the costumes
But even the movie is more accurate in the little things at this point and that's nearly impossible :/
Edit: im also not saying i hated the show or anything, i actually really enjoy it! Im just a little bummed about what has been taken out and the choices that are being made on what to make less "big" (ex. Mrs dodds fight, gabe not really being abusive - just annoying, foreshadowing to kronos, etc)
“the problem is when you form a resentment specifically for a “type” of gay person who expresses their identity in a way that makes you cringe, and then choosing to behave towards them how bigots have behaved towards you”
CHOOSING TO BEHAVE TOWARDS THEM HOW BIGOTS HAVE BEHAVED TOWARDS YOU
CHOOSING TO BEHAVE

Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
VERY IMPORTANT good omens question that im sure you will break your no spoilers policy for, does anyone, including background characters, wear a jaunty little hat
Oh God you wormed it out of me. Yes. Yes. A jaunty little hat will be worn.
Careful, if jaunty little hat is not worn in the next season, you could get sued for false advertising.
We're good. I just did a "jaunty little hat" watch to make sure, and there's a jaunty little mauve hat in episode 1, a jaunty little brown hat in episode 3, a whole slew of jaunty little hats of all kinds and colours in episode 4, and one solitary fez-wearing moment early in episode 5 (it is a fairly jaunty fez, though) followed by the appearance of an extremely fancy little black number tipped with what looks like pink ostrich feathers about half-way through episode 5.
Episode 6 is, I am relieved to say, entirely jaunty-little hat free.
the notes of this post are absolute comedy gold

I got a camera for Baldur while I'm away and he yawns so much more often than I thought he would o:

i love the strange reality of being a human person with a human brain. one time someone said something to me in a foreign language (japanese, which i do not speak) and i automatically responded in a different foreign language (spanish, which i do not speak well) and then we both said "what?" in english, an experience made more surreal by the fact that everyone around us was speaking loudly in canadian french (as this occurred in Quebec)
brain: ah yes a Foreign Language! i have One of Those!
You know its bad when im more stressed about how a book is written than the fact that its about cannibalism
I'm not making a universal general statement here but maybe this will help some people who are afraid of bugs.
I'm terribly arachnophobic. horribly. I get it, the irrational fear you can't fully erase. Yes I'm an entomologist and yes everyone at work thinks it's very funny.
But the more you pick away bit by bit at that general massive ball of fear, the more you can understand it and turn fear to wonder. I started small, just learning some facts about spiders but still unable to stomache looking at pictures.
And then I realized I could look at jumping spiders fine and made an effort to try to appreciate what I could about them. From there I could realized I could look at and Touch harvestmen and that there was a whole world to them to learn and love too. And by turning that Ambiguous Ball of Fear into curiosity and respect I've gotten to a place I can live side by side with my arachnophobia and approach spiders with appreciation, even if I will cry if forced to touch one.
And I guess it makes me sad when people's response to their fear is hatred and to kill. I understand the phobia and bugs and wasps especially is real and I'll never try to convince someone they're wrong for it - but treating insects with intentional ignorance will only make it worse and keep you from a whole world of wonder.
