Every time you closed your eyes, you saw him.Â
Duke Leto.Â
His lifeless body propped up against the cold stone walls of the Arrakeen palace. The image still burned into your brain every time you closed your eyes. Even though it was for a fleeting moment that you saw him. The gloved hands of the Harkonnen thugs dug into your exposed biceps as they dragged you out of the palace. Away from the new house of Atreides. Away from the only life youâd ever known.Â
You had been sleeping peacefully in your simple servants' quarters. You were still getting used to the intense heat on Arrakis, as it had only been a few days since you helped Lady Jessica pack her belongings in the Caladan Palace. The Atreides family had always been kind to you. After your parents died shortly after you were born, the palace took you in and trained you to be a maid for Lady Jessica. You helped her dress and accompanied her on public appearances. You waited on her, Paul, and Duke Leto, fetched their breakfast for them, kept their water glasses full, and carefully lifted and arranged the silk and velvet of Lady Jessicaâs dressing robes wherever she went. It was all you ever knew.Â
The move from the lush greens and crystal blue waters of Caladan to the unforgiving heat rays of Arrakis came as a shock. The offer from the Emperor to the Duke to take over the spice production was an offer you knew Leto could never refuse. But the sudden retreat of the Harkonnens made you wary. However, you were never one to question to decisions of your Duke and his Lady. Even Paul seemed intrigued and delighted by the new planet, throwing himself into researching the customs of the vast sandy hills.Â
The night of the raid started as a normal night. After Paul almost got himself killed by the shai-hulud trying to save spice harvesters, Lady Jessica was on edge. You tried to help calm her down while changing her into her nightrobes, but you could tell she needed the Duke most of all. After you were dismissed from their bed chambers, you quietly made your way back to your servantâs quarters.Â
After passing out from the long day of acclimating to the new palace and the blazing heat of the Arrakis sun, a loud blaring awoke you in the wee hours of the night. Chaos engulfed the palace as the pounding of footsteps and the roaring of the Atreides bag pipes blasted above you. Echoes of Atreides soldiers rushing out of their barracks met your ears as you tugged on your shoes and wrapped a thing robe around your nightgown.Â
As you made your way upstairs to the main level of the palace, the quiet tension of the air engulfed you like the tightening of a noose. Orange flares from the bombs dropped by Harkonnen ships lit up the sky. Trails of smoke littered the air, and the thundering of footsteps shook the ground. But not a sound echoed in the stone hallway of the palace. The silent thick air made your skin crawlâyou needed to make sure the Atreides family was okay.Â
Quickly making your way toward the main staircase, you tried your best not to make a squeak. Your heart quickened as your eyes darted to and fro for any sign of danger. The sound of distant shouts echoed through the halls, followed by the unmistakeable clash of steel on steel. Your throat tightened as you tried to swallow your nerves. Taking a quick deep breath, you rushed up the stairs.Â
Suddenly, a pair of hands wrapped around your throat and tugged you backward. The wind left your lungs as your eyes bulged out of their sockets at the sudden flair of pain. You wheezed as you fought against the grip of your captor. They tugged your hair back as you struggled against their ironclad grip. As a different hand attempted to tie a muzzle around your mouth, you bit down hard on the gloved finger.Â
Your face was met with sudden stinging as the captor slapped you across the cheek.Â
âSavage Atreides bitch.â One of them spits.Â
Harkonnens. Of course.Â
âBind her hands and take her to the ship.â The other directs.Â
You continue to struggle against their grip, but the one you bit forces you to look into her cold black eyes, pale, hairless face smirking back at you.Â
âIâm sure the Na-Baron will find some use for her.â
Your blood went cold at the threat dripping from the monsterâs lips.Â
The last thing you saw before you were thrown into the cargo hold of a waiting ship and knocked unconscious was the lifeless body of your honorable Duke Leto.Â
âGet up, Atreides whore.â
The shock and stinging of cold water met your shivering frame. How many days had passed? How long had it been since the raid on Arrakeen? Were Jessica and Paul alive? Was Leto?
Leto.
Your heart ached at the sight of the fallen Duke. The times he and his family treated you like one of their own. A debt you will never be able to repay. And all you did was get captured by some Harkonnen beasts and let them likely kill Lady Jessica and Paul. You shook your head at the thought, you couldnât bear to picture them suffering the same fate at the Duke. Or worse.Â
âGET UP!â The beast behind you roared.Â
Finally taking in your surroundings, you scrambled up from the cold, damp floor of the narrow. Cell. Dark stone surrounded you, not a window in sight. Your eyes burned with unshed tears as you lifted your head and faced the voice that still held the bucket of cold water he dumped on you mere seconds ago. You had heard the tales of the Harkonnensâ brutality, their ruthless thirst for power, led by the bloodthirsty cruel hands of Baron Harkonnen.
And now you were at the mercy of their game. A fly caught in their deadly trap.Â
âDonât struggle.â The Harkonnen soldier instructed as two more guards trailed in behind him. As they seized your arms and forced you onto the ground, your eyes caught a small syringe in the hands of the first Harkonnen. Fear engulfed your body as your heart started pounding at the sight of the needle. What were they going to do to you?
You struggled against the Harkonnenâs grip, but as quickly as they entered the cell, the first guard pricked your neck with the syringe, and you quickly lost the feeling of full control of your limbs.Â
Before you knew it, you were escorted out of your cell and down a dark hallway. The Harkonnen soldiers held your arms and dragged you when your legs felt like jelly, and you couldnât stand on your own. The harsh white light beckoned you forward, and they pushed you into a pit of white sand as far as the eye could see. All at once, the deafening roar of the crowd hit your ears, and your eyes adjusted to the harsh white light. Peering up into the sky, thousands and thousands of Harkonnens chanted from above. Their palely white skin seemed even paler in the light of Geidi Primeâs dark sun.Â
Amidst the crowd's clamor, a figure stepped into the arena, his form obscured by the glare of the harsh arena lights. The crowd's cries seemed to increase more at the sight of the figure clad in black. Two blades gripped tightly in his hands.Â
Your heart sank as you realized what was happening.Â
You were a pig set up for slaughter. A sacrificial lamb for the Harkonnen savage.Â
Your limbs felt as if they were sinking into the sand, your knees weak, and your eyes darted across the crowd.Â
The figure easily attacked and spilled the blood of two others in the arena mere seconds after he entered. And then his eyes turned to you. Your blood ran cold and your hands shook as you realized who was standing at the other end of the colosseum: the Na-Baron, Feyd-Rautha.
The ruthless nephew of the Baron himself.Â
His face twisted into a blood-thirsty smile as he stalked toward you. You could see him chuckling to himself as he sharpened his knives on each other. He raised one in the air while working the crowd, their shrieks growing louder at the sight of the na-baron hamming it up.Â
As Feyd neared you, your heartbeat raced, feeling as if it was going to beat right out of your chest. He was like a predator stalking his prey. His gaze met yours, and his eyes flickered up and down your trembling form. It was only now that you realized you were only in your thin white nightgown. He stalked closer to you, relishing in the hunt. His form towered over yours, and he stopped mere inches from your face.Â
You tried to take some deep breaths and not look too scared in the face of the na-baron. His dark eyes drank in your figure.Â
Your eyes flickered up to his face, observing the sharp curves of his cheekbones, his plump lips, and his dark eyes.Â
He brought one of his knives up to your arm, lightly scraping it up your arm so as to not draw blood. You squeezed your eyes shut as you anticipated the quick slash of his knife across your throat.
But it never came.Â
The knife stopped just under your chin as he used it to lift your chin upwards to look at him. Your eyes remained shut, you didnât want to give him the satisfaction.Â
You could feel his shallow breath come up to your ear, âLook at me.â he commanded.Â
His voice dripped with anticipation andâŚsomething else. Need? Lust?Â
You slowly opened your eyes while biting the inside of your cheek to keep the tears from spilling down your cheeks.
His eyes already bore down into yours. You flinched at the sudden intense eye contact, and the knife drew a drop of blood.Â
His hand clasped the back of your neck to keep you from moving. His hands were warm, and the calluses from who knows how many years of training bore into the skin of your bicep.
His lips curled into a smile, revealing black teeth. He bit his lip as he peered down at you, readjusting his grip on the knife.
âYouâre an Atreides?â He rasps out.
Your lip slightly trembled, eyes clocking the knife held at your throat,Â
You shook your head slightly, gulping at the iron grip he had on you.Â
He hissed and pressed the knife into your throat further, the smirk dropping from his face, âDonât lie to me, darlin'.âÂ
Your voice quivered, âIâm not ly-âÂ
He cut you off with a short yell, âDo. Not. Lie.â Each word punctuated with the knife coming up further. The piercing tip coming closer and closer to your throat.Â
You tried to take a deep breath, âyou were found in the Atreides palace.â He teased. âYou serve Letoâs witch, right?â He chuckled to himself, dusting the other knife across your cheek. Â
You simply nodded, cheeks ablaze, short pants coming out of your mouth.Â
His eyes searched your face, smirking in your face, in your distress. âYou know itâs my birthday handmaiden?â He smiled again, showing off his black teeth once again - fangs barred, âyou know I get what I want on my birthday.âÂ
He pulled you closer, his lips dancing across your ear, hot breath bathing your face, âIâll spare your life today, Atreides, for Iâm in need of a new pet.âÂ
He pulls back and lifts his head to the baron and the crowd above, âThere will be no more bloodshed today!â He roars.
The crowd hushed its deafening shrieks to curious whispers at the news from the Na-baron.
What was happening?
What did he mean by pet? Your blood ran cold, and your shiver intensified as Feyd raised the knife from your throat in honor toward the crowd.
âI, Na-Baron Feyd Rautha, will take this Atreides slave as my own. I claim my birthday prize.â The crowd's chants resumed, adoration flowing for their leader.
More Harkonnen guards appeared behind Feyd, awaiting instruction. Feyd barked at them, âTake her back to my quarters. Iâll tend to her after my celebration.â
He pulled you in close one last time, âTrust me, mâlady. I know how to treat my pets.â
*****
Hours passed before the na-baron returned to his quarters. You sat silently alone on the dark sheets, not a window in sight once again. You wrung your hands together for the millionth time - it was much colder on Geidi Prime than the beaming sun of Arrakis.Â
You tried not to let your mind wander too much. Thinking of Jessica and Paul made tears prick the corners of your eyes.Â
I must not fear. You began chanting to yourself.
âFear is the mind-killer.â you whisper, âFear is the little-death that brings obliteration.
I will face my fear and-â
Your mantra was cut off by the banging of the door. Your head snapped up toward the lurking creature before you.Â
Feyd seemed even taller outside of his battle gear, switching his midnight armor for a sleek grey day gown. A smirk painted his lips as he gave you a once-over, dark eyes scanning over you.Â
You couldnât help the shiver that ran up your spine under the weight of his gaze.Â
âCouldnât leave my pet alone now, could I?â He preened.Â
He stalked toward you, kneeling before you with a look in his eyes you couldnât quite discern. Mockery? Insanity? Bloodthirst? Need?Â
He brought his hand up to your face, cupping your left cheek, even as you flinched away from his touch.Â
He shushed you as he brought his other hand up to cup your right cheek, âSh sh sh mâlady, itâs ok. Iâm not gonna hurt you.âÂ
He brought his forehead against yours, his breath fanning your face. For some reason, you couldnât look away, it was as if he had you trapped under a spell.Â
His calloused hands moved from your cheeks and traveled down your neck. Your sheer nightgown was still the only thing you wore, the Harkonnens hadnât given you anything else to wear. His nimble fingers traveled further, cupping your warm breasts, planting slopping kisses along the nape of your neck.Â
You tried to pull away, tried to ignore the fluttering feeling in the pit of your stomach, tried to clench your legs closer together as the heat began to build.Â
âMâlady, I know what my pets want. I always know.â he groaned out.Â
Your words caught in your throat, distracted by his kneading hands. His teeth scraped up your neck, and you let out a gasp.Â
Where did that come from?
âFeyd -â you started, but it came out as a whine, eliciting a moan from the na-baron, who pulled you closer to him. He cut your next sentence off with his lips engulfing yours.Â
You pulled away slightly, coming up for air, âFeyd, I donât-â
âWhat I if I told, mâlady,â his voice cuts through like knives dancing along your biceps. He gripped your chin with his thumb and forefinger, âyou donât have a choice.â

a/n: full disclaimer I do not know exactly what the plot of Dune Part 2 will be, but whatever, I have thoughts about Austin being a villain/little weirdo!Â
âOn your knees Atreides scum.âÂ
Another one of those stupid Harkonnen men swiftly kicked your stomach, causing you to double over. Now you were annoyed. But you would be damned if they made you sink to your knees.Â
âGo to hell.â You seethe, refusing to break eye contact with their lifeless charcoal-black eyes.Â
You knew this one - Rabbanâthe Baronâs oldest nephew. From what your father told you about him, he is not the brightest bulb in the lamp. You swallowed the lump forming in your throat. The image of your fatherâs lifeless body burned into your irises, refusing to leave every time you closed your eyes.Â
At least your mother and Paul were safe.Â
Rabban roared and slapped you square across the face. A small groan left your lips as your head snapped back. Iron burst into your mouth, and you tried to stomach the blood running down your throat.Â
He may be an oaf, but boy, he could hit.Â
The guards behind you took the opportunity to shove you to the ground. Your knees buckled from the sudden jolt to your body, and you bit back a groan. Their grip on your arms rendered you defenseless and immobile.Â
You begin whispering your motherâs mantra to yourself to keep your thoughts from racing out of control. You squeeze your eyes shut squeezed shut, whispering the comforting words she taught you as a small child.Â
âI must not fear.â You assure yourself, âFear is the mind-killer.â
Rabban growled in annoyance at your words. Suddenly, pain explodes at the crown of your head, causing you to wail in agony. Donât fear. Donât fear. Donât fear.Â
âSilence you, Atreides bitch!â Rabban yanks again, and you squeeze your eyes shut.Â
The goons holding your arms in place applied more pressure as your body shook with adrenaline. Paul would know how to get out of this - he always knew what to do under pressure. He could summon The Voice or something, whereas your mother never bothered with you.Â
But they were safe. That was more than you could say for yourself right now. Knowing they were safe was all that mattered. You just prayed the worst thing the Harkonnens did was kill you - nothing worse. A shiver ran up your spine as you pictured different forms of torture these brutes could put you through. Stories of their savagery, their cruelty, and their thirst for blood stretched generations that came before you. And you didnât want to be another body they had to clean up.Â
With an irritated groan, you begin your motherâs mantra again - letting the familiar words wash over you and slow your racing heart. Even with closed eyes, you could feel Rabban wind up to deliver another slap across your cheek.Â
âAw, dear brother, let her finish. I want to hear where this is going.âÂ
A new voice interrupts your mantra. Unfamiliar but menacing and dripping with entitlement. Like a cat playing with a mouse.Â
You refuse to make eye contact but can hear heels clicking across the cold stone floor. They were taking their sweet time.Â
Click. Beat. Click. Beat. Click.Â
Rabban growled at the new presence, âFeyd, you are not needed here. I have this under control.âÂ
Feyd.Â
Feyd-Rautha.Â
You had heard stories. Whispers. Rumors. The unstable younger nephew of the Baron. Infamous throughout the galaxy as a crazed psychopath who stopped at nothing to get what he wanted.Â
And he was mere footsteps away from your face.Â
I must not fear.Â
Feyd merely chuckles at his brotherâs antics.Â
âLeave us.â He orders.Â
The guards throw your arms to the ground, but a squeak leaves your lips as pain flares through the crown of your head. Rabban keeps his claws twisting in your hair as your body sags with the loss of the guards supporting your arms. One of the guards forces your hands into a pair of handcuffs, locking them behind your back. Now you really were trapped.Â
Donât make eye contact. You screw your eyes shut again, trying to breathe through the pain.Â
Feyd takes a step closer.Â
âLeave us, brother.â His voice is low, and the click of a knife rings throughout the walls.Â
You stiffen, and your blood runs cold - what could he need a knife for?Â
Rabban tosses your head toward the stone floor, letting out a frustrated growl as he stalks out of the room.Â
Feyd begins pacing in front of you.Â
Back and forth.Â
Back and forth.Â
Like a predator stalking its prey before they attack.Â
Your eyes refuse to leave the dusty floor.Â
âWell, well, well. What do we have here?â He croons.Â
Whatever you do, donât look at him.Â
He keeps throwing that knife up in the air and catching it. He could stab you with a flick of the wrist. And you would have no way to defend yourself.Â
âY/N Atreides. Daughter of Leto and Jessica - my condolences, by the way.â He feigns sympathy.Â
A pang of hurt tightens your chest at the mention of your father. He deserved better. He deserved a hero that saved him from the Baronâs pudgy clutches.Â
He deserved Paul - a true heir.Â
âThe twin sister of the new Duke of Atreides, Paul.â He swings the knife at his side again. He stopped right in front of your hanging head. He smelled like gunpowder and something fruity you couldnât put your finger on.Â
âBut youâre the younger twin, right - thatâs why heâs the one your mother saved?â He prods.Â
A small scoff leaves your lips before you can fully process his words.Â
A hearty chuckle leaves his lips. âTell me though, Y/N, why do you think youâre here?âÂ
Donât give into his mind games.Â
Suddenly, his hand roughly pulls your chin up, forcing you to look him directly in the eyes.Â
He grits his teeth and bites out his words, âLook at me when Iâm talking to you, little princess.â
Feyd did not look like you expected. His dark blonde locks curled along his neck, contrasting his brotherâs smooth head. His pale skin matched his brotherâs, but his eyes held a certain intensity behind them like you didnât know what to expect next.Â
He was obviously muscular and had at least a foot on you and your brother.Â
Your eyebrows furrow together, scowling at those crazed blue eyes. Before you could stop and think, you spit a wad of blood collecting in your mouth at his smirking face.Â
You hit him square across his left cheek.Â
A shaky breath leaves your lips as you try not to focus on the aching of your wrists and the knife in Feydâs right hand.Â
He merely laughs as he scrapes his thumb along his cheek. After closely examining it, he touches the scarlet saliva to his lips - his eyes refusing to break eye contact while he sucks the blood clean off.Â
âTsk. Tsk. Your Highness. I didnât take you for an Atreides whore.â He muses.Â
You try to look down at your knees again, but he dances the knife against your cheek and tightens his grip.Â
âI thought I made myself clear. Look. At. Me.âÂ
You refuse to break eye contact. His gaze was so intense. So unclear.Â
What did he want from you?Â
âAw. Youâre so scared.â Feyd mocks, turning his eyebrows upwards and pouting his lips.Â
Your scowl deepens as if he canât see right through you. But maybe if you kept putting up the front that you werenât scared, you would start to believe it too.Â
Only then did you notice you were still in your thin nightgown? Nipples perked and pressed through the fabric.Â
Feyd brushes some hair out of your eyes, âDonât be scared, little princess. Iâm not gonna hurt you.â
His eyes search your face, fingers dancing across your chest. So he did notice the nightgown.Â
You finally muster up the courage to use your voice.
âI donât know where Paul is.â You concede. Your voice came out clearer and more confident than you expected.Â
Feyd jumps back up, circling you while he fiddles with that stupid knife.Â
âPaul? No, no, no. Princess, youâve got it all wrong. Youâre the one I wanted.âÂ
Your head snaps up at his words. What?Â
He runs the knife up and down your exposed arm. Goosebumps pop up all along your bare skin.Â
âYour brother may be the new head of your house. But you, you dear Y/N, have much more use for me.âÂ
Your stomach churns at his words. He may be deranged, but Feyd was not simple like Glossu. He had a plan.Â
His long fingers find their way into your hair, yanking your head straight back to look him in the eyes upside down.Â
He brings his face centimeters from your forehead. Lips practically kissing your ear.Â
âHe canât give me what I want.â His voice is but a whisper.Â
He inhales deeply, relishing in your scent.Â
As his words leave his lips, his arms encircle your waist. Rising to cup your breasts, his fingers twirl along the nipples. Teasing them through your nightgown.Â
You try to jerk away from his touch. The handcuffs burn against your trapped wrists.Â
His lips trail along your exposed neck. Your throat feels like itâs closing, but a small flame of desire grows in your lower belly. Your undergarments collect the dripping of your throbbing pussy.Â
âBut you, little princess. You can.âÂ
