The baby had been fussing for nearly an hour.

Not crying. Only squirming against your chest, tiny fists curled in your gown, little face turning restlessly stuck in state she did not understand.

You hated being unable to ease it for her.

Loki stood near the bed, watching yo, knowing better then to intervene, but worried for you all the same.

“You need sleep,” he started before you cut him off

“I need everyone to stop telling me that.” You huffed

His mouth twitched. “It’s a reasonable request.”

You narrowed your eyes. “Don’t patronise me.”

“I would never.” He crossed the room slowly, palms visible, he came in surrender “I only wish to hold my daughter.”

“She’s unsettled.” You tried adjusting your hold.

“She only being particular, she gets it from me.”

You almost smiled despite yourself.

Loki saw it and moved closer, leaning down to brush his mouth against your temple. Then your cheek. Then the corner of your mouth, gentle enough to make your tired body betray you by softening.

“There she is,” he murmured.

“Loki.” Your tone saying everything words couldn’t

His lips found yours properly, warm and lingering, one hand sliding to the back of your neck while the other moved with disgraceful stealth.

By the time you realised the weight had shifted, your daughter was tucked safely in his arm, blinking up at him in mild betrayal.

You gasped. “You thief.”

“I hate to do this, you leave no choice.” He moved back from you.

“You seduced me to steal my baby.”

“Our baby,” he corrected, rocking her with infuriating competence. “And yes.”

You tried to glare.

Loki only smiled, soft and victorious.

“You can have her back when I’m satisfied your rested.” He kissed his daughter dark hair.

“I have her,” he promised. “Rest.”

Height Sliders Updates (June 2025)

*Please Note: These files were not originally created by me. If you created the original files for these sliders and want them taken down, please contact me and I will do so ASAP.

For whatever reason, whatever is happening with sliders is not affecting height sliders? I put them all in, applied them in CAS, and it worked (mostly) seamlessly. I can't explain it. One or more of these files will probably break in the July 1 patch, so please be prepared for that.

I planned to save the quality of life fixes for later, but the toddler height slider is super finicky so I decided to just try it for the younger Sims. Since everything worked fine, I’m releasing those too.

Differences between the two versions:

OG fix - height is left and right

“Easier toggles” version - height is up and down

OG fix - preserves the included slider for head size

“Easier toggles” version 1: does not include the slider for head size

I can test an “easier toggles” version that includes the head slider. Just let me know if anyone needs or wants it!

Also, PLEASE let me know either through Tumblr asks and/or my Instagram if you have any problems with these files! I want to be able to implement fixes as soon as possible and cannot do so without your feedback.

For anybody not caught up: Tennessee just passed a new map that pretty much makes it so black neighborhoods have no power in local votes. Two things about this. While protestors were chanting "No Jim Crow", white Tennessee lawmakers were caught laughing on video. On top of this, Representative Justin Pearson and his brother KeShaun Pearson were arrested for trying to give their takes on the matter (which is not only their legal right but literally his job). If you give a shit about black people, help fight this. We can't allow a return to Jim Crow.

Additional information: State lawmakers have been gunning for Pearson and Jones nearly their entire terms. Most notably, in 2023, the House expelled them for participating in a protest at the Capitol. Their districts had to have special elections to have them reinstated.

Pearson is one of the plaintiffs of a lawsuit seeking an injunction against the redistricting.

The city most affected by the redistricting is Memphis, where locals are fighting against xAI's data center, which has been operating with very little oversight and is poisoning the people who live there. Here is a previous post on that with more information and more sources.

New Invisible Crib Mod (2025) ♥

Hey ❀

Firstly: How y'all surviving the new update? ಠ_ಠ"

Secondly: Since none of the invisible crib mods already out there (for years and years) seem to work in my game anymore, I decided to simply create my own — base game compatible. Now it works like a charm and maybe just at this moment you're like "Uh, fresh new 2025 invisible crib mod, let's try this out~" (◕ω◕✿)

This mod replaces the two depressed looking base game cribs "Rock-A-Bye Bassinet" and "WickedWork Bassinet" with an invisible crib. These two are important, because the game will choose one of them automatically when your non-occult Sim is giving birth, and you haven't placed a crib yet -> your Sims baby will get assigned to one of these. It won't affect the cribs from DLCs at all, so you still can use them as you like with this mod. Now you can place your newborn(s) freely. It works fine with CC cribs and presumably most CC newborn skins — even with multiple babies (as you can see in the picture above) ♥

❀How to use this mod:

1) Before birth: place your desired CC crib in your Sims home (or no CC crib at all if you want a floating baby).

2) Before birth: place either the now invisible "Rock-A-Bye Bassinet" OR "WickedWork Bassinet" over your (optionally) already placed CC crib. You can decide, which one you get for your baby, it doesn't matter.

3) After birth: your Sims newborn should automatically get assigned to the invisible crib — whether you placed it over a CC crib or not. So now you can move your baby freely and can place a new crib under them whenever you want.

❀Troubleshooting:

If your Sim is stuck while giving birth, and you haven't already placed one of the two base game cribs mentioned above, simply place one of them (or a DLC crib, if you like) and the birth should progress automatically. Repeat for each multiple.

CC not working *POTENTIAL FIX*

Hey guys, just popping in to share what has finally just worked for me with CC causing the game to fail.

What I did was remove all CC, then start the game up and turn off both script mods and disabled custom content. ALSO the new feature of 'Memory boost' was set to automatic for me, if yours is the same or enabled turn it off and keep it off. Then relaunch the game, enable your cc and mods etc. Pop your CC folder(s) back and that worked. Not saying it will work for everyone but that's what worked for me <3

You know, polished up the polygons and optimized it a bit. I think it looks great! When I started out making CC I never thought I'd get this far. Now? 88k downloads later we are here. It's still a bit much sometimes but boi am I glad to see people enjoy my stuff! :D

Heyy so, we went from 19 to 35 thingies, which is pretty dope. I included a bathroom and one toddler bed as well as a crib too this time. The entire thing should be BG compatible, but some interactions (like with the pet bed) are only available if you own the pack. If you don't then the object will just be deco. There's also a cute little surprise in here. Watch the dollhouse closely when your sims play with it, yeah?
