Hi there! I‘m a university student and I have build up a system with my money that usually I can save about 100€ each month. Now my banker, recommended by friends so I kinda do trust him has been telling me I should get insurance (preferably with his bank) I’m wondering what kind of insurance I should get if I cant pay for all each month. I usually have about 50-100€ after saving the 100. I already have health insurance through my mum. Any recommendations and should I do it through my bank?

This is a GREAT question and I’m very glad you’re asking it instead of just doing what you banker says to do. Because–and I know you and your friends trust this banker–a banker is not someone who is there to take care of you. They’re not an advisor or some kind of vanilla consigliere. A banker’s job is to sell you financial products. Including insurance. 

So what kind of insurance are they recommending to you? If you have health insurance, that’s the big one that you definitely need. But do you own property? A car? Do you have people dependent on you who will be up a creek without a paddle if you die? Do you rent and is your apartment at risk of being robbed?

- do  not  take  8 am classes

- dont take 3 hr classes that only meet once a week

- sleep 

- when u write an essay pick out the quotes/examples u want and write the essay around it

- email ur teachers and meet with ur advisors regularly

- TRIPLE CHECK YOUR ALARMS 

- bring tupperware to the dining hall to smuggle out extra food

- try to group your classes together in back-to-back time blocks. you wont want to go back to class once you get home

- STAY ON TOP OF YOUR HOMEWORK EVEN IF THERE ARE OPEN DUE DATES

- when walking on the sidewalk keep all the way to the right especially if your pace is slow

- yes, sometimes we can hear the music through your earbuds. we really don’t care or mind

- try not to eat a whole bunch after 10PM, especially fatty foods like pizza or lots of pop. you’ll get stomach aches in the morning

- nerd clubs are 100% okay and there are tons of students who share your interests with you, you just have to look

lush employees, who are more adept at guerrilla warfare and fabian tactics. bath and body works employees rely too much on pitched battle and are not equipped well enough for prolonged conflict

I disagree with some of that, I feel as though the Bath and Body Works employees are pretty well trained in the art of handling an all out attack. Their defenses are high and well coordinated. Remember, they deal with white moms on the daily, whereas I feel that Lush employees are more used to dealing with a younger generation of customers.I feel as though they’d be equally matched but in the end I feel with the advancement in technology that Lush possesses over Bath and Body Works in terms of sheer amount that they sell, ultimately Lush wins, but not without heavy casualties.

All true, but everyone is forgetting Bath and Body Works employees have extreme training dealing with the hell on Earth that is Semi Annual Sale. Have you ever seen someone come between a white woman in her 40s and Vanilla Bean Noel at 75% off? Bath and Body Works employees have and still live to tell their stories

I think terrain is an important consideration? Lush employees are better at straight melee since they’re used to fighting in close quarters, whereas B&BW employees have more experience in moving through wider terrain and using ranged attacks.
