Mike/Harvey vampire/old guard au
So, I've been reading some vampire marvey fics and I've also had The Old Guard on my mind, so this came to mind one night hopefully you guys find it interesting

-Mike, or Mikhail dies alongside his Viking brothers, only to wake up fully healed hours later.
-He travels alone under a different name until he dreams of the next person to join him. Trevor. This happened 20 years after he had awoken. They become best friends always watching each others backs.
-They gained a third member a decade later. A woman named Jennifer, or Jenny. Trevor and Jenny fall in love
-In 1886, Mike meets aspiring Lawyer, Harvey R. Spector.
-Through trying times, Mike and Harvey fall for each other and Mike thinks he can have his happy ending.
-This ends three years later. People are becoming suspicious, so Mike, forced by Trevor and Jenny, fakes his death, devastating Harvey.
-The three leave the settlement behind, especially after dreaming of a fourth member to awaken.
-They still have no idea why they were chosen for this life.
-Harvey tries to kill himself, not wanting to live without Mike. he fails and is found and turned by Jessica who had been interested based on his potential to be the best lawyer.
-He hated her for some decades for saving him when he didn't want to be saved.
-Fast forward to present times, Harvey is a Senior Partner at Pearson Hardman
-Mike's group has remained at four after losing their fifth member during the Renaissance
-vampires are known and have their own governing group apart from Humans
-Mike's group is occasionally called in to deal with Rogue vamps since they can't die (so far anyway)
-Cue Harvey being shocked the day he catches a glimpse of Mike. He thinks he was reincarnated and is being offered a second chance.
-Mike is just as surprised to see Harvey, especially as a vampire

I saw a Zolu post where if zoro was in WCI he would've put Sanji in the ground had he witnessed Sanji attack Luffy the way he did. And yes he definitely would
But I had a thought. What if ace or Sabo were there and witnessed it? Since they aren't apart of his crew they just travel together they don't feel the need to hold back even if luffy asks them to esp with ace and luffy being married. At that point luffy being a capable pirate captain is second to the fact that Sanji just hit his husband. He drew blood and knocked out his teeth. He's spitting mad cuz sanjis betrayal is dragging up the memories of teachs betrayal and thatchs "murder"
That's something that ace and Sabo will never forget maybe forgive eventually but never forget
And they make sure to give sanji his own punches. Luffy tries to stop them esp with everyone tired from fighting but sanji tells him no he deserves this after putting his hands on not only his captain but aces husband and sabos brother, after everything luffy had done for sanji he knew what he did would have major consequences. Nami, though she had forgiven him, was still chilly with him now and then.
I don't know what do you guys think?
I dare anyone to listen to die with a smile by Bruno Mars and Lady gaga and not get emotional thinking about ace and luffy. When I listen to it can't help but think about an au where ace lives and one day on the sunny he and luffy are out on the deck everyone else is either in the dining room or asleep. Ace suddenly hugs luffy making him gasp at the sudden affection. Ace is just so grateful to be able to enjoy these moments with luffy to know Sabo is alive and that he was deserving of life no matter what blood runs in his veins he found the answer to his question and it was luffy and his family that were the answer all along.

Acelu Hogwarts au idea thanks to a commenter on AO3
-Triwizard Tournament, ages 20 and up only so Luffy is miffed about it
-Champions are Ace for Hogwarts, Law for Durmstrang, and Cavendish for Beaubatons
-1st year starts at 13 instead of 11
-Ace is Slytherin, Luffy is Hufflepuff, and Sabo is Ravenclaw
-Ace and Luffy have been dancing around each other FOREVER and Sabo is just sick of it. He just wants them to get together and stop pining already
-Maybe the Yule Ball will help
-First Task: Surviving a forest of wild beasts, no problem for our resident jungle child
-Second Task: Rescue a loved one from a huge fire pit. (You'd think this would clue these idiots in when Luffy is the one Ace has to rescue, but no. They're still morons).
-Yule Ball: Everyone is forced to take the dance lessons taught by Professor Cora. why he is in charge when he falls over or trips over something every 30 seconds no one knows. Ace struggles to find the courage to ask Luffy to be his date but hears a rumor that 7th-year Drumstrang student Trafalgar Law asks, so he gives up and asks his friend Bonney to be his dance partner for the opening dance, least Cora puts him with someone he hated. Just when the champions are lining up, he sees Luffy coming down the staircase in his robes, making him even more gorgeous to Ace. He doesn't see Trafalgar anywhere until he catches him standing arm-in-arm with Kid, another Drummstrang student. Realizing this is his chance, he apologizes to Bonney, who shrugs because she doesn't care. Ace makes his way to Luffy, stopping in front of him before executing a small bow asking him to be his date to the ball. Luffy smiled wide, excitedly saying yes. Ace took his hand and got in line with the other two champions, his nerves finally calming down now that Luffy was there. They dance through the night, taking breaks and such before disappearing near the end and heading to the room of requirement. Neither of them wanted to have sex, but they wanted to be able to cuddle in front of a warm fire. The room thought of everything, even pajamas to change into. They lay down in front of the fire, talking about everything and nothing before succumbing to sleep.
-Third Task: A free-for-all to get to the Cup and show off their magic to the crowd.
-Law ends up winning, but Ace is ok with that. He had Luffy to console him after all
-Years later, their kids find an old photobook with pictures from the Triwizard Tournament and ask about how they fell in love.

brrrrr i wanna write this acelu rivals to lovers au so bad.. where ace is raised by whitebeard via roger’s request and he genuinely is like. a prince of pirates. he’s bratty and cocky since whitebeard’s crew spoiled their littlest brother so much— and maybe stronger too, since he was trained by them.
(Part of) his psychic damage is that Pops and his brothers lowkey want him to succeed WB, find the One Piece, and become King of the Pirates. He doesn’t want to do that because that’s his dad’s thing, but he doesn’t want to disappoint the WBs who raised him either. Truthfully he doesn’t really know what he wants, to see Pops happy and healthy and to help him, maybe.
This way, Ace would meet Luffy for the first time in Alabasta (?) when he’s 20 and Luffy’s 17… or maybe a little later in the Grand Line. Luffy would mention being the King of Pirates someday soon and Ace would take it as an insult because HEY, no, sorry pipsqueak, that’s gonna be my Pops, Whitebeard. They’d get into a fight which Ace would win,,, but he thinks Luffy is cute/funny so he kidnaps him back onto the Moby Dick like Pops can we keep him >:)
This is my take on that different first meeting au. So, Ace and Luffy don't meet until after wano. sure they've followed the strawhats movements and watched their bounties go up over the last couple of years. Yeah, they were surprised when they disappeared for two years cuz they still run into Kuma, but in this au blackbeard got caught before he could kill thatch so marineford doesn't happen. Then they hear about the heart pirates alliance, about punk hazard, about dressrosa.
They knew these guys are up to no good.
And then they get the most surprising news of all.
Kaido had been defeated by Strawhat Luffy. Wano was free. And he was named the fifth emperor of the sea.
Ace is now petulant incarnate.
He's in a mood for months, making the rest of the crew make fun of him for it. as hes always talking about the rookie.
then fate it seems, brings them together for the first time.
Ace promptly challenges the brat to a fight. There's no way someone three years younger than him could beat him.
Even if he was kinda cute and his type. They fight and its a draw. They're impressed with the other and Ace invites him and his crew to meet Whitebeard.
Luffy obviously is just straight forward and challenges Whitebeard. Ace is like you can barely beat me theres no way you can take on pops.
They start to fall for each other, and it all comes to head at a party the night before the strawhats depart from the Moby. Luffy and Ace are just talking, ace staring at luffy's mouth before he just leans forward and kisses the life out of him. Luffy recipricates and they find a room and have a amazing night.
Ace decides to join the strawhats for awhile as he wanted to see where this thing with luffy went.
it ends with luffys becoming king of the pirates and ace asking luffy to marry him just after he's crowned.

Do some people not realize that ace and luffy are in fact NOT blood brothers? They shared a cup of sake with sabo when they were kids they have no relation whatsoever? Can we just leave people alone for their ships? If it's not hurting you just scroll from it and don't go to that tag again if it bothers you that much. That's problem alot these days. I don't usually get into stuff like this cuz I hate drama in the fandoms but if you're so ignorant and and actually haven't watched or read one piece all the way through then maybe you're the problem.
