hi, I'm 𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡, she/her, 30s, bisexual, brazilian, writer. || chronic illnesses/disabilities || deep love for music || steddie brainrot || fashion & movies too
I’m shell, a 30 yr old, she/they from Brazil. You can find me as shelleyminx on AO3 just like here on tumblr. I’m a writer and I just started publishing my works! By now it’s just Stranger Things (mostly Steddie and Henderhop), but I might post my writings of other fandoms too.
I reblog lots of random things related to my tastes. I’m a total nerd for vintage culture, music, high fashion, cinema and podcasts (tho I mostly listen to Brazilian ones). If you know me from my rpc days, currently I only play 1x1 and I'm closed for plots. Recently I made a sideblog for my Djo posts (I keep my album reviews and stuff here, there is for silliness), which is @mrsmountebank!
There is nsfw on this blog (fanfiction, language, photography, gore), I will try to tag accordingly since I also post content for all ages. I live with epilepsy and I talk about it here sometimes. Themes like grief, and depression also appear, but I always tag those.
under the cut you will find all my masterlists and links (fics, hcs, character analysis, etc). Welcome to my internet corner! Feel free to follow and interact ( ˘ ³˘)💜

Red With Love
Obviously, there was only one bed. A round bed. And red walls, red carpets, a red mini fridge, a fucking red heart-shaped tub. Because if it wasn't bad enough to have his (almost) brand new break right as a snowstorm seems to be on the way, Eddie had to get stuck in a love hotel with no one other than Steve Harrington.
Word Count: 9,1k | Rating: E | POV: Eddie | Pairing(s): Eddie Munson/Steve Harrington | Tags: enemies to lovers (but only in Eddie's mind), dry humping, post-canon (but Eddie lives), set in 1996
♥️ obs: this was written for the Steddie Winter Exchange for my lovely giftee!! The hotel, Tropical Inn, is inspired by famous real life love hotels and resorts of the Poconos Mountains in Pennsylvania, such as Penn Hills Resorts, Cove Haven and Pocono Gardens Lodge. The original post has some pictures of the inspirations.
In My Peripheral Vision
It's the spring of 1989 and Steve is finally moving on from them, having his fairytale wedding. And Eddie, who's been stuck on his own failing marriage, watches from afar, collecting memories of their days together like old trinkets, trying not to get too close.
Word Count: 10k | Rating: E | POV: Eddie | Pairing(s): Eddie Munson/Steve Harrington | CW: a LOT of internalized homophobia; brief mention of parental abuse; unplanned pregnancy; miscarriage; cheating
This December, I'll Remember
After a decade avoiding his dearest friends, Eddie finally shows up to their yearly holiday reunion. As he reconnects with those people and sees the adults they've become, he faces his own truths and regains some memories his mind swept under the rug.
And he learns that remembering can change everything.
Word Count: 6012 | Rating: M | POV: Eddie | Relationships: Steve Harrington/Eddie Munson, little mentions of other couples. | CW: past drug addiction and alcoholism, brief mentions of hallucinations, sound hallucinations and intrusive suicidal thoughts, mentions of vomiting |
💜 obs: written for Corroded Coffin Fest pop up event "If We Make It Through December", songs used as inspo: This December by Ricky Montgomery and A Long December by Counting Crows.

tags:
I ramble a lot in tags
here's my personal tag
I participate in a lot of tag games
Stranger Things Headcanons
not a fan account but I post a lot of Djo things (impressions, opinions, freakouts etc), so here's a tag!
Last but never least:
There are ships I don't like or engage in, but that doesn't mean I can't follow or befriend people who like or produce content for them! However... I don't engage with any Harry Potter related content. I have pretty much every tag and term related to it blocked. And though I won't go on your chat or ask box telling you what to like, I won't refrain myself from posting my opinions regarding the franchise and the author on my blog. I'm totally anti generative AI, don't follow me if you post anything made with it. I'm against censorship, tags and filters are our best friends.
I think that's it for now!! 🍃 my ask is always open, I love meeting people and sharing the silliness of life! 💜
every once in a while I sit and giggle to myself about that pic of the pack of Trojan condoms in Eddie’s room and how there was a prominent clean square in the shape of the pack in the dust on the dresser when it was moved like he really got no bitches ever huh 😭
I think that part of what irks me about AI being used even for "small" stuff like meme graphics (aside from all the larger problems obviously) is like.... the time spent on it was part of the humor. "this is a silly inconsequential joke but I had to stop everything and spend 5 minutes making it" was, at least for me, part of the joke. Someone really took time out of their day to make me look at something silly they took time out of their day to make. Now it's like someone took time out of my day to make me look at something no one even made. Stop wasting my time if you aren't wasting yours too.
Prompt: hole | WC: 606 | Rating: G | CW: mention of dead cat
Eddie pauses with one leg on the low stone wall surrounding the cemetery. He'd been about to hop the wall and head to his usual spot under his favorite tree; he's got his headphones, tape player, and notebook in his bag, ready for campaign planning.
But somebody's already here. And he'd recognize that hair anywhere. Steve fucking Harrington is in Eddie's cemetery—and what's more, he appears to be robbing a grave.
Eddie's not trying to jump to conclusions, but Steve's got a shovel and he's digging a goddamn hole in the ground, so it's not much of a jump. He looks like he's been at it for a while; there's a navy blue sweater draped over a nearby headstone and Steve's white tee is clinging damply to his chest. Not that Eddie's paying any particular attention to Steve's chest.
He should probably get out of here. Stealing shit from dead people is definitely illegal and he doesn't want to find out what'll happen to him if Steve catches him watching. He eases his foot down from the wall and lingers a moment more, because this whole situation is frankly bizarre and he's dying to know why Steve's out here on a Saturday morning indulging in a little spot of graverobbing.
Steve pauses, leaning on his shovel, and turns to look at a cardboard box on the ground. He crouches down and pats it, saying something that Eddie can't make out, and then sags forward onto his knees, head bowed, hands on his thighs.
It hits Eddie like a brick. Steve's not robbing a grave, he's digging one. He's here to bury whatever's in that box.
Steve sniffles and rubs his nose on his sleeve, looking so miserable that Eddie's over the wall and headed in Steve's direction before he can stop himself.
Steve's head whips up when he hears Eddie's footsteps and his expression shifts to wary suspicion.
"Hey," Eddie says, coming to a stop a few feet away. "Need any help?"
"I'm good," Steve says shortly. "What are you doing here, man?"
Eddie shrugs. "Oh, y'know, just out for a stroll. How about you?"
Steve's mouth thins.
"Look, I'm not gonna rat you out," Eddie says. "You wanna bury your dead dog, go right ahead. I just thought you might want some company."
"It's a cat," Steve says, getting to his feet. There's dirt smudged on his cheek, and his hair is mussed and sweaty. Eddie is a weak, weak man. "And it's not mine."
"You're burying someone else's cat?"
Steve sighs. "It's a stray. Some asshole hit it and drove off without stopping. I didn't wanna just leave it there, so…"
He indicates the hole in the ground. He's dug down pretty deep. Lotta work for a cat that's not even his.
"I'll fuck off if you want," Eddie offers.
"Nah, you can stay." Steve stoops and picks the shovel back up. "I'm almost done, anyway."
Eddie watches as Steve works, trying not to stare too obviously at the way Steve's muscles bunch under his shirt. Steve finishes digging, gently sets the cardboard box in the hole, then starts piling the dirt back on top of it.
"Be right back," Eddie says, and dashes over to the cemetery wall. It's seen better days and there's loose rocks strewn about. He picks up a good looking one, smooth and weighty, and brings it back, offering it to Steve.
"For the headstone."
"Thanks, man," Steve says, looking surprised. He takes it, his skin warm against Eddie's, and then he kneels down in the dirt and sets the rock carefully in place. "Rest in peace, I guess."
people in fanfiction are so good at identifying v specific smells. I literally struggle to identify vanilla when I’m sniffing a candle labelled “VANILLA” how are these kids getting woodsmoke, rain, mint, and a whiff of byronic despair from a fuckin tshirt
Once I read a fic where they were like “he tasted like” and I’m expecting the typical formula (1 cooking ingredient + 1 natural phenomenon + “something uniquely [character name]”) but instead they said “he tasted like mouth” and it was one of the greatest fic moments of my life

Back for another round this weekend! So still keeping things simple with the two fics I'm focusing on right now:

💞 - Crush Confessions Ch. 2
Tags and a snippet from the next Steddie bodyswap chapter below the cut:
Finally letting her go, Eddie put his hands on his hips, clearly imitating Steve. It was like during their silly dungeons game, when he was ‘getting into character’ or whatever.
“God, Red! Keep your shirt on. Where’s the fire?”
And Steve had to give him points for that one. ‘Red’ was a major tip off, but that second part? Totally sounded like him whenever the kids had him at the end of his rope.
So, Steve put up a united front with him, the way Eddie so often did these days. “Seriously, who said anything about being late…uh, Red?”
Expression amused, Eddie nudged him, mouthing, You just did, big boy!
Steve only rolled his eyes, ignoring him.
Frowning, Max raised an eyebrow, skeptical as always. Then, she shook her head. “Jeeze, you guys have been spending way too much time together. You’re even starting to sound creepily alike.”

"He's changed since you left," Nancy said gently. "At the beginning of the summer he looked just like he used to, but after a few weeks he started to change. I don't know why."
"Change how?" Steve asked.
"See for yourself." Nancy pointed over Steve's shoulder.
Steve turned slowly and scanned the crowds of people in the direction Nancy pointed. When he finally spotted Eddie, he felt his jaw drop and his eye widen. Standing in a group of jocks - JOCKS - was one Eddie Munson. He was wearing sneakers, khakis and a green Hawkins sweatshirt with the lapels of a white button laying over the sweatshirt collar. And his hair! Gone were the curls Steve had swooned over and it their place was a close crop similar to the style Jason Carver wore.
"What the fuck?" Steve whispered.
"I don't know," Nancy said. "Like I said, at the beginning of summer he was … Eddie."
"Well shit," Steve muttered. "This changes everything."
One of the things Steve really liked about Eddie was the way he didn't conform. But this Eddie? All he was was conformity. And that just wouldn't work.
Okay I know I said these would max out at 1000 words but this one really took me on a ride. Thank you for the prompt, @novacorpsrecruit.

Ship(s): Henderhop, henderbros (just a little for flavor)
El isn’t a child, and sometimes Dustin feels like the only person in their friend group who gets that.
She could probably blow up a car with her damn mind, she survived in the woods for months without them, she has tastes and opinions and feelings and they’re all normal and valid. Sometimes he wants to, and has, slapped Mike right in the side of the dead for talking to her like she’s slow.
So El isn't a child, but there are gaps in her knowledge that make it painfully clear that she didn’t have anything nearing a normal childhood.
“Mer Maid?”
“Yeah, it’s a story, you know, like Cinderella, only she has a fish tale.” Could he explain it better? Sure, but then he wouldn’t get to see that adorable little head tilt thing she does when she doesn’t understand things.
“Cinderella, the one with the slippers? And the pumpkin?” She perks up the way she does any time she already knows something. The euphoria of knowledge, Dustin’s favorite feeling. Well, maybe his second favorite feeling, now.
“Exactly, but this one is like, a half fish half woman, and she falls in love with a human on the shore and has to make a deal with a sea witch to get legs. I used to think they were just a story, but now that we’ve confirmed the existence of other dimensions, the existence of para-human cryptids seems much more feasible–”
He goes on, excited by the potential for scientific discovery all around him. El is one of the few people, the only person, really, who loves to listen. Lucas, Will, and Mike will go on and on with him about certain things. Radios, DnD, alternate dimensions, but they run out of steam quickly on the other stuff.
El is more like him than he thinks other people realize, thirsty for knowledge, and knowledge. She’s a genius in her own right, taking in the world through a lens he can’t understand. She’ll say something so simple, but it will completely change the way he sees the world.
They spend the rest of the day like that, lounging in his living room, fending off his mom’s attempts to feed them both. The topics change, but Dustin keeps that conversation in the back of his mind.
—---
“Why do I have to be the one to take you? And why can’t we just go to the library, you know, in town?” Steve gripes, grabbing random books off the shelf, flipping through them, and then putting them back in the wrong place. Dustin chooses to ignore that, lest he lose sight of the mission.
“Because we need to make a purchase, and there are no bookstores in Hawkins, ergo, a bookstore in Halsey.” Dustin rolls his eyes. They’ve already had this conversation twice, and it’s not like Steve said no, so he should just drop it.
Steve mumbles under his breath, something about a history of stealing from the library that doesn’t dignify a response, especially when he finds what he’s looking for.
“Found it!” He explains, pulling the large tomb out from the middle shelf, flipping through it leisurely. “Thumbalina, The Princess and the Pea, The Wild Swan, The Little Mermaid! Perfect, okay, I got what we need.”
Steve leans over his shoulder, looking down at the book. “Fairy tales, seriously? You made me drive all the way out here for some kid’s stories?”
Dustin scoffs, Steve doesn't get it. “First of all, these are classics. Second of all, fuck off. And third and most important of all, these are for El.”
Steve was the only person Dustin had told outright that he was in love with El. It wasn’t that he was embarrassed. Why would he be embarrassed for falling for a literal superhero, especially one as pretty and kind and funny and unique and, well, everything as El? It was just awkward, given her history with Mike, even if he’s pretty sure at least Will has caught on to what’s going on.
But Dustin needed Steve because he's his mentor, and Steve had been the one to tell him to always jump on any opportunity to buy a girl something she mentioned not having in casual conversation, so here he is.
Steve makes that annoying face he gets sometimes when he's feeling especially sappy about something, but thankfully doesn't say anything about it. He just gives him one of those little noogies with the flat of his palm and walks him to check out.
—---
Dustin bikes over to the Byers/Hopper house as soon as Steve drops him off. He’s on a mission.
Jonathan opens the door with a look like he definitely knows what and who Dustin is here for and finds it very amusing, but it’s Jonathan, so he doesn’t say anything about it, not that Dustin was waiting around to be let in. He happily pushed past him and into the living room, tossing hellos to Will and Joyce as he went.
He does actually wait at El’s door after he knocks. Max put him through the wringer the one and only time he dared to barge into her room unannounced. It made for an effective lesson.
“Dustin,” El said in that way that meant “It’s good to see you.”
Dustin smiled back, lifting up the shiny purple gift bag he’d nicked from the hall closet before heading over. “I come bearing gifts, m’lady.” El giggles, and Dustin feels like he might explode.
They settle on the floor, backs pressed against the bed frame. El takes the bag, gently peeling back the thrice reused tissue paper and pulling out the book.
Anderson’s Fairy Tales.
El runs her finger delicately along the illustrated color, carefully taking in the details of the nice, painted cover he’d spent an extra 50 cents on. El deserves a nice copy, not the boring green fabric ones.
“It's a collection of fairy tales, like we were talking about last week. Look.” He opens the book, showing her the table of contents and pointing to the eighth one down.
“The Little Mermaid,” she reads, slow but sure. It’s kind of amazing how quickly she learned to read given the circumstances.
“Yeah, I figured we could read them together if you wanted. We could take turns reading them out loud, see which ones are the best.”
Dustin wouldn’t describe himself as shy. Despite the years of bullying and weird looks and exclusion, he knows exactly who he is and is proud of it. He’s going to change the world, unlike the mouth breathers who shoved his head in the toilet, but El has already changed the world, and he wants more than anything to be someone who makes all those sacrifices worthwhile.
“So, do you like it?” He asks, because that’s what it really all boils down to. He wants her to like the gift he gave her.
El stares at the book, turning the pages slowly and stopping any time there’s an illustration to examine it closely. Dustin doesn’t push for an answer, not with her, he knows she’ll answer in her own time.
“It is perfect. Thank you, Dustin,” She says, looking him right in the eyes.
Dustin was already ready to jump for joy, mind spinning with all the different ways they could share the book. They could go story by story, or pick the ones they wanted to read, maybe one person could read while the other drew a picture based on the story and then compare it to the one in the book or–
The press of soft lips on his cheek is feather light and quick, like a butterfly landing on a flower.
His mind stops, eyes going big in his head. El just kissed his cheek. What the hell? Did he die?
El giggles, that mischievous look she gets when she knows exactly what she’s just done, making Dustin’s heart melt even further. He blinks at her, making her giggle even more. She grabs the book and puts it into his hand, resting her head on his shoulder.
“Will you read the first one?” She asks sweetly. Too sweetly, the little imp.
But what can Dustin do but oblige her? He clears his throat and starts reading. “Once upon a time…”
Rules: For each word assigned, share one sentence or excerpt from your WIP(s) that contains that word. Then tag some friends to keep the game going!
I was tagged by the awesome @offbeatrinkydink and my words are: GRIND, REWARD, INCIDENT, THIGH, & GREEN, all the snippets are from my WIP Jesus Christ (That's A Pretty Face)
GRIND
"We're too far away from the edge to fall off," Steve rests a hand besides Eddie's head for stability, but aside from that, he doesn't move. Neither of them do, it's almost like they're afraid of ending up grinding on each other.
REWARD
[...] a couple of tears escape from Steve's eyes as Eddie thrusts, eyelids almost shut, face sweating. There's something rewarding in seeing him come undone like this.
INCIDENT
Maybe then, Eddie will see the incident as one of the thousands of weird medical things that can happen to a body. Most importantly, maybe he can stop seeing Steve as a body, a corpse, and see the conscious and very alive person inside.
THIGH
[...] he's not alone. Worse than that, he's all over Steve Harrington, of all people. Being a messy sleeper is not his own fault. He kicks covers, turns around dozens of times in his sleep, so it's not exactly surprising that he's thrown the blanket over Steve, or that he has a leg flexed over the dude's frame like he's a freaking body pillow. Or that his boner is inconveniently pressed against Harrington's thigh.
GREEN
It's not even pretty, with wall paint peeling off the corners and stains on the kitchen window curtains that would have his mother squeaking. Eddie's blue covers have a hand sewn random green patch on the very corner, as if it was ripped and he fixed it himself.
