I just had a moment that I needed tumblr people to relate to.

I just had a total fanfic day date. Went to the movies. Got food. (I sneaky paid for his meal because he always pays for me with an uno reverse credit card.) Then went shopping and giggled at things together and told stories about our friends and families. Then we ended it with ice cream. <3

Except we’re fucking 40 and we both got like 1/4 of the way through our ice cream and tapped out 🤣🤣🤣 It’s okay, I have an upset tummy and I’m being very brave about it.

It reminds me of an SNL sketch a younger friend shared with me like “going to parties after 30”

“Hey you wanna have a good time tonight?”

“No man I’m good”

“No really, if you want to have a good time, take this”

And it’s like, Advil.

My friend goes “is this sketch realistic?”

And I was like “I guessed the punchline would be Tums or Advil, so I’m gonna say yes.”

Anyway, my point is, eat all the cute ass ice cream you can while you can. Cause you never know when you’re gonna tap out of that chocolate lovers delight in a waffle cone bowl with someone cute. Luckily, how they react to this moment marks them as a keeper or not. And if you both have the same thing happen, at least you have tumblr to relate to.

Ah yes, and throw back to my most popular tumblr post, the commentary for the Last Dam Job where they wanted to use the Stargate (from the movie) and have Eliot standing there about to go through it and saying “Okay but this is the LAST TIME!”

But they couldn’t do it cause the Stargate had been dismantled and thrown away, although Dean Devlin rescued pieces of it from the dumpster post production.

Instead of this lost shot, they used it as art on the walls in the room with all of Latimer’s possessions. Seen with Saul Rubinek (who appeared in the Stargate tv show) in front of them all.
