kaz was born and raised on a farm. kaz does indeed smirk and grin. kaz jokes and teases [especially inej]. inej is a dangerous person. inej does indeed do bad things as well. no, inej is not a “sweet little cinnamon roll uwu”.

I feel like ppl over exaggerate how emotionless Kaz really is so, when Freddy Carter played him with actual emotions they said it was inaccurate. Guys he literally humors half of Jesper's jokes in the books, he's really not that serious. He has a sense of humor, he shows appreciation for those he loves. Freddy's Kaz is more open with his words (even then he's still unable to truly open up) but the guy is not inaccurate just bc he refuses to play Kaz Brekker as a non chalant dark romance love interest who only cares about Inej.
